Moving it forward, added nimbus clone

We all love fasttech for their selection and price but not every item on the site is a sure fire hit. Here are some fasttech misses. Some reported items to think twice about. Carrot Emperor (Buyer Beware)

YMMV

-This vivi clone is a dog: run away https://www.fasttech.com/search?1314100

-These CE6 clearos have been reported hit or miss by several. The ones I got with a battery were fine but the six pack gives a nasty taste. https://www.fasttech.com/p/1305000 (Edit: After a thorough double boiling, they are now working acceptably. So if the price point is worth the hassle to you then they might be ok for you)

-These 650 mAh batteries have been reported to be poor performers $23.87 650mAh Rechargeable Battery for E-Cigarette (4-Pack) 4-pack - for Q3 / Q4 / Q6 / Q7 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

-Several of the 50 ml needle tip bottles have reported to leak or the needle slips or comes off and it does not lock on. Luer lock tops do not fit.

-From user Hughthehand " https://www.fasttech.com/products/1360004 My Vivi Nova V7 comes with horrible burnt tasting heads. The body is really nice with a great finish so it is a nice buy if you don't mind replacing/rebuilding the heads that come with it. I really like mine with my rebuilt heads."

-These Protanks http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/1...stic-tank-25ml are ABS plastic clone and assumed that tank crackers will get them. Fastech does sell real protanks and list them as Kanger Protanks (but they are often out of stock) http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/1...x-glass-tank-2

-Posted by member jongilbert:1 Dont order these : $6.13 9892A-II Eye Glasses Style 20mm 20X Loupe / Magnifier with LED Illumination - black / 2*CR1620 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping Just junk. I guess I should have known better.

-Posted by member DaxFX "please dont buy that NIMBUS CLONE is a crap of design the airholes are so high and far from the coils you will not get no vapor at all" https://www.fasttech.com/products/1391309

-From member Markh5682-"Ultrafire batteries are another thing you should avoid, the quality of these are questionable at best, downright dangerous at worst."

Just some observations after following all the FT threads and ordering from them a bunch of times:

* If they say genuine "Smoke" "kanger" "Itaste" what ever then it will be from that manufacturer. If not then the piece is in all likely hood a knock off. That includes when they say "genuine" Vivi Nova. Vivi is not a company but a clearo style. This piece will be a knock off.

*Generally it takes around 8-10 business days after the package leaves FastTech until you get it here in the states. DO NOT expect speedy delivery from FastTech. Although, it does happen on rare occasions, FastTech is a bit of a waiting game. Know this when you buy from them.

*If you have a question about a product, open a discussion thread on FastTech under the item. Geek or one of the other techs will answer your question as honestly as possible.

*FastTech generally has very good customer service but there is the time difference and language barrier. If you have any problem, even a small one, open a ticket. Be patient and do every thing they ask (take a picture of product etc.) and I have not read of one person who was not taken care of.

*FastTech has, by far, some of the funniest product descriptions on the planet.

If people post things that DON'T work out I will try to add it to this list and re-post it every so often.

FastTech search, it's not just a function it's an adventure!

I'll add that even though staying away from any battery with "fire" in the name is a general rule all around for any place.

I have some UltraFire 18650's from flashlight days, and they work fantastic. These are Blue ones labelled - XSL 18650 2400mAh 3.7v. I use them daily in my Vamo V.2 and several "high power" flashlights.

I also have some red ones - Labelled as BRC 18650 3000mAh 3.7v that won't work in the Vamo....

You have been lucky then, I hope you don't leave them charging unattended.

Afaik, from what i read on the internetS, it's not a matter of quality(i know they are not AW's or Panasonic's tho) but there are a lot of counterfeit ultrafire's.

I have the ultrafire 18350's from FT which i use them exclusively in my SVD and i don't have any complaints after more than a month using them.

This is my first feedback post for FT, and I have mixed feelings about them. I placed two orders with them, which were small purchases, just to 'test the waters', so to speak.

Both of my orders came in the mail exactly 10 days after I placed them, so no complaints there. My first order consisted of this:

$3.60 Hangsen E-liquid for Electronic Cigarettes (30ml) - coffee flavor / 16mg/ml nicotine at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$8.08 CE4 1.6mL Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (6-Pack) 6-pack - assorted colors at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The e-liquid (Hangsen coffee) is quite good, and I'm happy with the quality overall. What I wasn't happy about, was that the cap on my bottle hadn't been tightened down firmly enough, and some of the e-liquid had leaked out and saturated not only the bubblewrap, but a part of the envelope my stuff came in, as well. So...I thought, Well, these things happen once in a while. As it turned out, 'these things happen' two out of three times, at least to me. My second order, which consisted of only two more bottles of the same e-liquid, had leaked all over everything as well. That was 2 out of 3 bottles, and at least 5mls of liquid, I'm guessing, had leaked out of one of them. I'm not a hard person to please, but is it really too much to ask that the lids on a bottle of e-liquid be tightened properly?

As for the clearomizers, I wasn't impressed. They give off decent vapor and don't leak, but I can't taste my e-liquid in them, at all. I've been vaping for 9 months, and this is the first time I've ran into this particular phenomenon, if you want to call it that. Can any 'veteran' vapers give me some insight on this? I'm guessing it's the type of wicking material used, maybe?

Anyway, I'm a "three strikes and you're out" kind of person, so they're on strike two, because of the e-liquids leaking thingy. I'm giving them one more try, and these will be what I buy next:

$14.06 T3 Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (6-Pack) - w/ multi ropes at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Has anyone else used these?

I think I would definitely lodge a complaint. They are most likely still refining their packaging and shipping processes, and that can be especially difficult as many items as they stock and as fast as they are adding new stuff. I'm all but certain they would WANT to know about the problem. No company wants unsatisfied customers, especially when the fix costs zero and is easily avoidable.

I dont buy any of those, someone doing rewraped them on a garage, they would not have enough stock to supply all retailers around the world, and another company who says they catch fire just buy my brand, cmon marketing strategy... I have read a lot of good feedback about them so im not worried, every brand including panasonic, aw can also catch fire with unproper care.

For me they are working great. Or should i use my rc heli battery?

Well, I have heard on many forums from a few different hobbies to stay away from batteries with "fire" in the name. I have also heard of many people using them and working out fine BUT.......I have heard a lot more often from folks who are very much in to batteries to stay clear of them. I'm going to leave that one in but I'll edit it to so something like in my opinion or something. But really, the hole list is my opinion any way :p

DaxFX I have a 36v 20AH Ping Battery in my garage.

That is just insanely fast! Did you pay for priority shipping or anything.

Nope. Just plain ole' free shipping. Bad thing is that i ordered my vamo separately same day and it isnt here yet. Now im looking at a protank clone that i cant fit on my V2cigs cig-a-like. :(
