I just spoke to my neighbor across the street about it. He's from China. Real cool guy. He said exporters are always looking for the cheapest path. Different airlines have different hubs. My package found it's way to JFK in New York. My neighbor told me that my next package might go through Seattle. It's anyone's guess.
Hopefully I'll be able answer on the Chi soon when it gets here. I think there's others in the thread that already have the Nemesis that might be able to help.
So I just stumbled upon this thread and am waiting on a fasttech order which has said acceptance in Hong Kong since the 6th. No movement since. Now this is my first order with them and didn't have my hopes up for any kind of fast turnaround but damn if it was accepted on the 6th shouldn't that sucker be movin? Just figured I'd see what others experience with FT has been like.

From what I understand, the Nemesis comes with a 18650 tube and a 18490/500 tube. The smaller tube is also called a Kick tube since it can be used together with the 18650 tube for using an 18650 with a Kick. The main pic at FT is with both tubes attached.
Some people who are having problems with the button are using both tubes together with an 18650, but the small tube shouldn't be used unless a Kick is also used because the button will be squishy and have too much play. There is a longer pin that can be bought from the makers of the original Nemesis that allows both tubes to be used at the same time without a Kick, if someone prefers that look.

What you will read for the last 20 or so pages of this thread is that HK post is enforcing some old regulations and stuff is backed up like crazy. My most recent wait was ten days at HK post but some people are still getting through but not most it seems.

I personally think that no matter what, that at least %50 of any money place on an order should be refunded to anyone who's going to have to wait 4 weeks or longer. That's ridiculous for people who don't have a vaping device to hold them over. I was not warned of any of this malarky on the 4th of September or else I would not have ordered from them under any circumstance; I'd like a full refund personally, as I am going to be wasting more money ordering from Discount Vapers. I won't have any use for a possibly dangerous clone in a bubble envelope that's been tossed around a shipping place and crushed by thousands of held up orders for weeks after I order from them. But just my luck, I also cannot now order from Discount Vapers because my billing address changed and I don't want my receipt to go to strangers, yet my bank is stupid and won't change my billing address over the phone - I'd have to pay $30 for a taxi, no car. It's ******** ridiculous.

Routing by USPS isn't really up to the exporter once it leaves their hands. Whats happened is that it was put on the first available space that was going in your general direction at that time rather than sit around and wait.
What your neighbor is talking about is shipping containers full of gear and then using private logistics brokers to get it to its destination. I know a guy that imports scooters and ATV's by the container. He makes a deal with a manufacturer and then the logistics folks handle the rest for an additional fee. They will even broker deals for partial containers where you get half and someone else gets the other half.

I've been following your story. It's really sad. It's truly the biggest hardship of any of the stories here. It's not fair. People with resources are able to weather these things much better than people with cash flow issues. I wish there was a fix for it. FastTech did it's part to get the product out the door. That's all an online retailer can do.

Same with me. I thought it would be weird to try something other than the top side button that I was used to. When I got bottom side button and bottom button mods I was surprised at how quickly I adapted, within just a matter of minutes. I now have a slight preference for a bottom button, but really whatever I use feels fine for me.

Chi will work w/ the 18490 (tried it), and If the Nemesis is a 1:1 copy it will also work because It worked on my Nemesis
same issue here,,,,,,,I was hearing amazing reports of 8 days and 11 days total from order to delivery so I ordered LOL,,,,,,mine has been sitting in HK for 11 days,,,,,,and that's after taking 9 days to restock and ship it to HK,,,,,,,so it's been 20 days since I ordered, and it's STILL in HK.

That worked for me. I quit my job and was worried because my dekang order wasn't moving. Ordered some vanilla tobacco from MBV on Friday. I got a tracking number from them that afternoon, and of course later that night I checked my ft order and it jumped to departed san fran. Have just a little more patience...
