Personally I am looking forward to the Plovali clone being available for less than $20 from FT with its sturdy tube made from top kitchen grade aluminium foil and voltage variable simply by how fast you crank the handle, those of you who blew $200 on a single mod will be feeling pretty silly then.

Every one has their big, shiny, looks like it was bought at an adult toy store mod in their avi so I thought I would go the other way.:D

It is a 350Mah mini me ( http://www.vaporbeast.com/eGo-Mini-Me-p/32-0063-000.htm?1=1&CartID=0 ) with a black beauty ring and a boge shorty carto.

FT has a 450 mah ( https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004043/1348000-450mah-usb-rechargeable-battery-for-ego-e ) that is only about 2mm taller. I have one and actually like it better than the mini me because it is unregulated.

I like your thinking. I'm a bottom-feeder. I focus on having plenty of inexpensive devices on hand. A few weeks ago I would have jumped on that Mini-Me from Vapor Beast. It's a perfect back-up. I will never think of an e-cig as a status symbol. It's a nicotine delivery system. My wife has been giving stuff away to friends at work. (cheap stuff like clearomizers, eGo batteries & juice) The goal isn't to keep up with the Jones .... it's to keep off the tobacco. My wife has forgotten an e-cig at work a few times now. It doesn't create an issue because there's a passthrough in the car and cheap eGo clones waiting at home.

There will be a lot more eGo Clones at home if my FastTech order ever gets here. It left New York on Sept 16th and showed up in Baton Rouge, LA last night. So, instead of being 1245 miles away, now it's 1217 miles away.

I just got a trident clone from Fasttech. Took a week from the day I ordered it to arrive. It looks just like all the pics I have seen of the real deal. My only complaint is the o rings seem a little too big for the atty making it hard to put the cap on. It even came with a pre built coil!

I ordered a trident on the 9th and its still sitting in HK. At least my drip tips i ordered last week are in packaging now.

Nothing wrong with the hobby side of it if that's what interest you. I have $15,000 dollars worth of bicycles in my basement and don't even get me going about my fishing gear :p

But vaping, for me, was more about getting off smokes. I'm rough on stuff and break things often no matter how well they are made. Since I NEED to have my vapes, many cheep devices make more sense to me. But when I come across something so solidly built and with great battery etc. like the MVP, I'll break out a little ching for a mod. FT made that possible at a reasonable price.

erm,,,,,,most of us are hardcore e-cig enthusiasts here LOL

I said I'd never get one,,,,,,

never say never,,,,,in my head, I've already spent my christmas money I don't have yet on one LOL.

having said that,,,,,,it's not NECESSARY to have a provari to vape and enjoy vaping,,,,,,,

My SVD from fasttech keeps as happy as my spinners which keeps me just as happy as my volts.. My prosmoke (1st purchase of ecigs) is still going, but I have to admit I do not like it that much. It is just nice to hold in my mouth as fancy it being the real deal. My X6 and X8 from fasttech are just as good as my 40 buck carto tank and my 14 dollar viva's. My 12 dollar pannies PD from fasttech I like better than my 18 dollar AW's.

If anyone wants to spend 200 bucks to feel like they are getting something better so be it. My inexpensive gear works great and is just as safe. Meanwhile I have 150 bucks extra in my pocket. I think I'll take the wife out for a 200 dinner and butter her up some so then I can spend more on gear from Fasttech. Considering I save 900 bucks in my first year of vaping over smoking I could more than justify the cost, but why?

Many posts on ECF about the clones having less voltage drop than "original" mechs. I dropped my SVD last night. I think it chipped some of the brick it landed on. Not a scratch on it.

I just want some reviews of the Nemesis clone.

Walmart baby bottle isle, or by the dish detergent... As a bonus you can get them at the 1$store if you would prefer.

Don't buy $1 store clones.

The bristles could fly off and hit you right in the eye and then where would you be? Standing there with a piece of $1 store clone bristle brush in your eye, that's where.

Awww the Walmart brand is a clone of a clone of a clone. I wish the original manufacture got a piece of it.

I much rather pay $100 for a Caravela gold plated titanium enriched brush to clean my $3 FT clearos. *wink*

I'd love to help, but I'm in the same situation. After a very bad streak the only thing that works is my eVic. My 100 dollar budget has shrunk to 77 thanks to inflation and the rising dollar. And all I get is "get a Provari" and people that OFFER one for free but when PMed want to sell it... Guys, not everyone can keep up!

What would you be doing if you were smoking? Your cigarette budget wouldn't shrink.
You'd be spending your cigarette budget every week. When prices increase you'd find a way to budget it. The tax man knows this and relies on it.

Everyone may not be able to keep up but that's because not everyone is good with their money. They see that they're saving $20 a week vaping over smoking so they buy $20 worth of Big Macs. Instead of hanging on to their old ecig stuff as a backup they sell it at a loss, when they need a backup and have to pay extra because they don't have the luxury of time.

I saw the "fixed income" complaint on Johnson Creek's FB page. They were spending $40 a week in cigarettes. Now they're spending $20 in liquid, yet they don't have any money to hit a sale because their check hasn't come in yet.
Same people spend 10% extra plus extra shipping (because they never allow themselves the luxury of time to get free shipping) buying single bottles. This isn't even getting into the question of what is someone who's poor doing buying expensive liquid anyway.
And worse yet, because they can't get the liquid when they need it they're going to spend twice as much to smoke.
It doesn't add up.

Want to order cheap from China? Put yourself in a position to be able to afford the time it may take to order from China. Otherwise wait until you have nothing and pay someone else to order inventory from China.
Some people are their own worst enemy.

This!!!' This is what I'm talking about!!!! Thank you myk!!!! I'm not statin that clones are bad and you should buy the real thing, but if you want the real thing then stop spending so much damn money on knockoffs to save the extra $10 a week and use the cash to buy a real one instead of looking for a freaking hand out. That's all. And btw my nemesis clones have not moved past preparing to ship... So I think china forgot to update them.

Totally agree. Hobbies are great. If you can afford fine wine, go for it. But, those on a budget might be better off buying several bottles of the $3 Charles Shaw at Trader Joe's. If the credit card balance is not zero-ed out at the end of the month then e-cigs isn't such a wise hobby.
