I hope I'm detecting some sarcasm there:laugh: Not bad mouthing BCC's they have their advantages as well. Just to much fussing for a guy who is always on the go and doesn't like to have to fiddle with my vape gear, of course YMMV.

The T2's don't go through juice at any where near the rate of the i-Clear and are a lot cooler but still warm. I just got my first thirty in after using the 15 for a while. The vape is quite a but cooler on the 30 but dang, I've never seen 3ml of juice disappear like that before. Throw up a review here if you ever get your package.

Just one more comment on the FT T2's : The draw is noticable tighter on the FT product. My guess is it is due to the wick coil. The FT's accept the kanger replacement heads and I will have to see how that works after I finish this clero.

Good read on the sarcasm, I speak it fluently. I can drive my friends nuts by saying completely absurd things with a total deadpan look. Most have learned to just ignore me.

I'll get the package eventually and review them unless I quit vaping out of frustration from having to "fiddle" with these dadgum BCC's.

That explains it. You must be registered as itchee_b on the FT forum.

Kidding, of course.

I just placed an order last Friday for a SVD kit... no batteries or juice. I'm not in a huge hurry or anything but I hope it doesn't sit in purgatory for a month like with some of your orders. It moved into "acceptance" status in the middle of the night last night.

That's what bothers me. I ordered my SVD Thursday night and it hasn't even gotten to the "acceptance" stage. I have a tracking number, but USPS doesn't recognize it yet. It's bad enough that it's probably going to wait a week before it even gets scanned, but then there is the good chance it will get rejected due to the batteries in it. How much longer after that before FT can even notify me of the rejection.

I can't (or won't) afford local prices ($50 for an ego?!!?) and I can't stand the wait from China. Maybe this vaping thing isn't for me.

No they are offering 5% off just the defective one., not the pack of 8-they made that clear. That equals .22 off umm no thanks!

Oops, my mistake then.

But we're still talking about a less-than-five-dollar battery. Is it worth your time/gas/etc. to ship it back? Heck, even if you threw it away, you'd still have seven batteries at less than five dollars each.

Personally I'd peel the rest of the covering off and be satisfied with a silver battery.

There are US-based vendors. More expensive than China but less than $50.

Good quality. Cheap. Fast. Pick two out of three.

I've got a couple of eGo kits to PIF to a friend that is interested in vaping/quitting smoking, a handful of RBAs/drippers, an order of juice, some drip tips, a set of protanks, a set of T4s, and finally some pre-made coils all split into four orders. I hope it looks like an individual's order and not a vendor's order :'(

I just opened my first support ticket on FastTech:
--------------------------------------------------
Received 150mA chargers. Product description said it was 1000mA charger. Picture showed a 500mA. I expected either a 500mA or a 1000mA charger.

150mA is too weak. I need a higher output. Can you correct this problem? I ordered and received 5 chargers. All 5 chargers are incorrect. I need 5 chargers with at least 500mA output like the picture shown with the product description.

Sorry about the photo quality. I need a better camera.
-------------------------------------------------

Can anyone tell me what to expect next. It's a total investment of $7.60 and it's not like I won't be able to find a use for the 150mA chargers. It's the principle of the thing. I wanted the wall chargers to match-up to the eGo starter kits. Everything I've read says 500mA wall chargers are ideal for the eGo battery.

I need to issue a Mea Culpa:

FastTech did send the correct wall wart. I was reading the wrong line. My reading glasses weren't cutting it. Using a strong magnifying glass, I was able to read the output:

OUTPUT: DC 5V =500mA

My eyes kept locking onto the line above it that says 150mA. It sux getting old.

I just met a friend this morning in the parking lot of the credit union we both use to give her a couple of eGo Kits I bought off FastTech. She insisted on reimbursing me for the cost. It felt like we were doing a drug deal. She got a sweet deal .... two 650mAh eGo kits, two AC wall chargers and three bottles (10ml) juice for $20.

You can get very limited tracking information via hong kong post air-mail tracking (google) before it hits the USPS system.

Still isn't going to make it come any faster though.

Note: problem with Hong Kong postal service (apparently affects orders shipped USPS, too):

"Sorry for the issue.
We have tracked it for you, and only to find that the package is still stuck in HK,which may be caused by the recent HK postal issue.

To safeguard aviation security, Hongkong Post does not accept the sending of air mail items (including Speedpost) that contain dangerous articles such as perfumery products, lighters and lithium batteries. Hence, all mail items entering the Air Mail Centre are subject to x-ray screening. Recently, there is an increasing number of air mail items detected to contain suspected dangerous articles, in particular, lithium batteries, which lengthens the screening process. In this connection, air mail registration service, iMail service and Bulk Air Mail service may be subject to delay. Any inconvenience caused is much regretted.

Source: Hongkong Post - Notices - Delay In Outbound Air Mail Services

FastTech confirms that all battery airmail packages are being affected at this time. This includes HKP/USPS, and Singapore Post.

Here is what's happening:

Packages with primarily batteries in them are now more likely to get caught and get returned to us. We'll refund in those cases.

If you have previously requested us to put you on Hong Kong Post only list, you may want to consider getting off that list to avoid the added wait time at Hong Kong Post.

Again, until this loosens, there is a higher chance for packages consisting of only batteries to be returned to us by shipping carriers. When they are returned, we will fully refund customers and cancel their affected orders.

We'll monitor and update as this situation develops.

We apologize for this and thank you for your understanding."

My order was shipped Sep. 7th. I still haven't received it. I ordered a Vamo kit, tank, and heads. This could kill Fasttech as a supplier unless they don't include batteries in their kits. Really a bummer!!!

I hated the way the movie ended but I LOVE the "Pay it Forward" concept. Good for you helping a friend out and saving them some $$$$ in the bargain.

Where the h--- are you finding eGo batteries that expensive?!

650 Single Kit – Create A Cig

OK, it's a kit, but you get the idea. I could buy a bare 650 for $20 after taxes, but I refuse to buy something when I know for a fact that I'm getting ripped off. I get it, they need to pay rent, pay employees, eat and all that other good stuff, but get real! Standard markup is 100% and I know they are getting 650 mAh Ego kids for less than $27!

These prices are standard for our local B&M's.

In a separate box I created a welcome kit. It had several empty bottles, (sizes 3ml, 6ml & 10ml), some cheap drip tips, couple of those silicone cover drip tips, a syringe, a pipette, 10ml of PG, 10ml of VG, various tobacco flavored juices that I'm not really fond of and a couple flavors that I really like, such as Robacco from Azure Vaping. Anything that I could think of to get her to stop buying those Marlboro Lights. She's going to set-up her aunt who is on a fixed income.

Oh, I wasn't thinking of twist batteries. I don't think that's a safety concern, but cosmetically it certainly looks annoying.

For me personally, when I'm buying a super-cheap Chinese product straight from the mainland, I basically expect there to be a slip in the cracks every now and then. I would still try pushing for an outright replacement or a partial refund of the unit cost, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

You can track via HK post or Singapore post websites before it reaches the US, I use a postal tracking app on my phone.
