Got a bit of a gift certificate for some batteries I had ordered a while back that were returned by HKP, so I just started a little race today, with a few of FT's different shipping methods, to see what might be the quickest (in the short term, I know, as things change pretty rapidly with their shippers lately):

1. 10x MT3S coils and 10 x EVOD coils via USPS Epacket via China Post
2. An eGo-C 650mAh via USPS Epacket via China Post -- to see if built-in batteries are a show-stopper for them
3. 3 x EVODs via USPS w/DC via HKP
4. An Eternity clone via Singapore Post (not USPS w/DC via Singapore Post, just straight up Singapore Post, which seems to take a different route and gets a different prefix on the tracking number)

Thought it appropriate to get the Eternity via SP...

Could make it a game: who can guess the closest to the actual time from shipping to delivery? For each shipment, the first guess that comes closest to the actual time from shipping to delivery in days, I'll buy you what I ordered in that shipment. Once a package moves out of Acceptance or Info Received the window closes.

EDIT: By "shipping to delivery" I mean from the time FT gives me a tracking number to the time it's marked as delivered...

EDIT 2: Er, maybe PM me your guesses -- to keep from cluttering up this thread too much!

One of my packages tracking has stated Despatched to JFK United States since 11/30 with no updates since (SGP was selected as ship method). Another package that I just selected USPS as ship method left HKP on the 11/28 to SGP and arrived at SGP on 12/3. Now on 12/5 it says DESPATCHED TO COUNTRY : UNITED STATES / CITY : LOS ANGELES.

Both orders was placed at the same time 11/24 and both shipped 11/25. So far the package with SGP selected as shipping method (built in batteries) seems to be moving faster but no updates for 5 days. If "Despatched to Destination country USA" really means it left SGP on a plane. SGP is 5 days ahead of USPS free mail option.

Wondering why no updates on the USA side yet since it should have arrived 4 or 5 days ago here in the USA. When I go to USPS tracking it just says origin post is preparing shipment.

Somewhere out there
Just to update, My "ships next day" that changed to "ships in two days" then "ships in four days" now says "restocking". Is restocking FT speak for "We have no idea what we are doing here any more"?

With FT, restocking seems to mean "whoops, our supplier missed the projected date, just sit tight and we'll get your stuff in a day or a week, or sometime"

I think I had to wait as long as a week or 10 days for something to "restock" twice.

From what I can determine. If you selected registered airmail via Singapore post, it will ship out registered with a tracking number that starts with an R, probably an RQ. These packages go 'direct' from Hong Kong thru JFK. Unsure if you have to sign for these packages though as they are registered shipping. This seems quicker, although I have seen longer than usual delays in US customs in JFK.

If you used the normal USPS first class free shipping option, which used to be HKP, it now goes out unregistered airmail, with a tracking number that starts with LK, and routes thru Singapore onto Los Angeles. Unsure about typical transit times, but it looks like around 3 weeks total to your door.

It appears that China Post epacket maybe the best option right now for US orders.

FYI, singapore post is the only option right now for devices with built in batteries in them.

My tracking numbers suggest you are correct. I knew about the SGP only option for batteries and that is why that package was the only one I chose registered airmail via Singapore post. I'm thinking since the have been "despatched" (sp :)) to USA I am going to get my package sometime next week. I hope!!

Oh. And FYI, HK Post is back.

But as a selectable option. New Shipping Option: USPS first-class service via Hong Kong Post: FastTech Forums

So if you want Honk Kong Post, you can use it. But if you select the normal' free usps' shipping option, it will use Singapore post.

All this confusion how does anyone keep up! We need a break down for best shipping methods. Like choose this for Mods, this for built in batteries, this for liquid, and this for all other items. Wish I knew these answers I would break it down. I guess such a break down would change daily anyway.

It possibly could change daily.

This is a good place to check.

today's vapemail!! immortalizer IGO-W 15 empty bottles and 5 driptips!
the flavor on the immortalizer is amazing!!! really really amazing I don't think this is a leaker but I'll do my best to see it's limits, the only drawback for now is that it has a really tight pull, like sucking trough a syringe needle

My current order from fasttech

11/18/13 placed order - no batteries, no eliquid, 13 different items ordered - 16 piece total quantity
11/23/13 order shipped - out of focus picture of 1 package attached to order - unable to confirm ship to address or shipping #
11/24/13 to 12/3/13 no information available in regards to tracking # - any search resulted in no information found
12/4/13 submitted ticket for Fasttech to track package due to this message from Singapore Post tracking - Information Received (This is not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt of the stated Registered Article) which in my mind indicates that a label was printed but that was all
12/5/13 current message when tracking package with Singapore Post Posting Date 05-12-2013, Status Date 05-12-2013, Status Description Despatched to overseas (Country code: US) which indicates to me that the package was never actually taken to Singapore Post until I submitted a tracking request ticket to Fasttech

Now I do have to admit when I first saw the 05-12-13 date I was thinking MAY 12th for several minutes until I pulled my head out and realized the rest of the world does day-month-year (which makes more sense than month-day-year if you think about it)

now all my previous orders from Fasttech take 2-3 days from shipping date to reach LA and then 10-12 days from LA to western SD (they all get routed around the whole country - happened with all 3 previous orders) so I get to wait an additional 12-14 days now

My next order from Fasttech (if there is one) will involve me submitting a tracking ticket the day after I get the confirmation that it was shipped

I have a warranty shipped Swiss Post. It's shown "Departure from border point of origin country" on 11/20 & 11/21 and nothing since.

Anyone have any experiences/insights they could offer?

I used Swiss Post for a health & beauty item. Shipped on 10/31, hasn't been seen since. I had to get a refund through PP.

I bucked up for the uber expensive shipping option and finally got a shipped notice with tracking number. I've had that same message you have had for about 3 days now. Before that the tracking number gave me no info for about a week. It kept saying "need 48 hours before any info may appear". So since getting my tracking number it's been about 8 days now and still no word. I then used the same tracking number and input it into Canada Post tracking system and it is now tracking it but only says "Accepted" But at least Canada Post now recognizes the tracking number. Does USPS recognize the tracking number?

Essentially if you pay the extra for shipping or not, you wait a long time from Fastech. :)
