..
This one stopped tracking and continues tracking on usps.com its at los Angeles now. This shipment will take about 3 weeks total to get to me

Heres my other sgpost shipment that's pissing me off. I opened a ticket 3 days ago and finally the shipment got picked up after 14-15 days. I dont know if my ticket had anything to do with this. Support excuse was that customs are backed up inspecting packages but that's bs because the shipment didn't even get picked up to get inspected.

CONFIRMED PICK UP REQUEST30/Nov/2013 11:53:38HONG KONG.
PICK UP ARRIVED AT ORIGIN HUB14/Dec/2013 21:34:38HONG KONG.

Based on the above tracking this will probably take a little over a month to deliver
..
.I have 3 new orders shipped dec 12 and dec 13 through hkpost and they are reaching hk airport in record time 1 day acceptance next day and its at at the airport. In 2 days it will be at San Francisco hopefully and 4 days to Chicago.

Do not use sgpost if your in the usa !!!! Before they had the hkpost shipping option i had to open a support ticket to switch to hkpost and they recommended sgpost stating that there are huge delays with hkpost and they advised against it. Forget that ill stick with hkpost

I just checked with quantium, and it showed my package as "dispatched to transshipment hub"

This is my first time with SGP...any idea how far out that means?

The rotters split my order. I was trying for the kayfun https://www.fasttech.com/p/1552300 an d it looks as if they both shipped on the same day.

So the problem is I paid extra for the express packet blah blah blah, and they are using it for the split order....only they used it on the kayfun alone and sent the rest of the order with the dreaded Swiss post. Dern it.
Dang...you found all the cool stuff!

Anyone else experiencing "slower" shipping than usual? Normally the'y're pretty good (even though it usually takes 2 weeks anyway). This latest order seems like it's taking a little longer.

Somehow I think the Christmas rush and Santa Claus' last minute orders might have something to do with it...:)

I have two orders with Fasttech.

On one, I paid for expedited shipping. It got split with the bulk going out expedited on Dec. 3 (mods, RDA's, electronics and miscellaneous items); the other going out Dec. 4 via registered air mail (3 Kraken Clones).

The second order went out via registered air mail on Dec. 1. (RDA's and other stuff).

None of the orders had any batteries in them. The expedited shipment has gifts for Xmas, so I am getting very nervous.

I have been watching everything like a hawk on Quantium and Singapore post, and other than "ITEM LODGED INTO TRANSSHIPMENT HUB LOCAL POSTAL AGENT" on the first order, and "CONFIRMED PICK UP REQUEST" on the air mail one, there has not been any movement since the 5th of Dec.

The misuse of the word is not mine. I was wondering if my items were at least being lodged in a decent hotel in a good area of town or in one of those sleazy places where they rent rooms by the hour.

I was about to start a ticket this morning when I clicked on the tracking link for the expedited shipment in my Fasttech order summary, and I get from Singapore Post: "dispatched to destination country" on the 14th. The other two are still in limbo. Hopefully, breakfast is included, and my orders won't starve to death.

Yet, Quantium showed no movement.

It still baffles me why Fasttech would trans-ship through Malaysia which is some 1,600 miles away by sea. Air transport is not available for anything with a battery.

I have ordered from China in the past from various different vendors for electronics and ecig stuff and never had a problem. My first order from FT though HK got here in 10 days with registered air mail in the beginning of Nov., and tracking worked very well via HK post. It did have batteries in it, albeit safe chemistry ones.

This Singapore experiment is turning into a logistics nightmare. I wonder how all of the US internet vendors and B&M's are getting their shipments handled. This applies to anything with a Li Ion battery in it. It would be easy to imagine shortages of a lot of electronics gear happening just before Christmas.

Singapore is a cool city. Do you think that my Precious ones will ever want to come to Papa after experiencing the temptations of a big city?

I would imagine that most of the Li Ion batteries are manufactured in China. It is hard for me to believe that China, as a government, would "Shoot themselves in the foot" on this issue. Should this continue it will probably cost them jobs.

I ordered two Ego batteries from FastTech yesterday. I don't really need them and shipping time is not really important to me. Wait and see what happens. Maybe they will sneak through.

It's not the Chinese government, they probably don't really care. In the long run we're still going to buy batteries, if not from FT, from a local dealer with a markup :(

I recommend checking the coop forum for batterie coops which will save you some cash :)

Ordered this product: $37.61 Authentic Smoktech S.I.D Variable Voltage/Wattage Mod - silver at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Received it two days ago. They say it is authentic. Problem, I can't unscrew the head. Watched some youtube vids about the SID and they can unscrew the head. Possible a clone? I'm waiting for a answer from FT. Somebody else recently ordered a Smoktech SID? Same problem?

Cheers,
Rene

You just aren't strong enough to get it loose the first time. Rubber palm grip gloves are a handy item to have around. They will double your grip strength.
Yes the top does unscrew and if you look in Pic one it shows it separated.

I have the same issue when tearing down my tanks for cleaning and rebuild(Arthritic hands), but I do win in the end.:)

Damn, i've tried almost everything. Time for some tools, pliers, dynamite...

Edit, don't see a pic. Edit 2, yes the Fasttech pic. I see.

I'm not just speaking of e-cig batteries or FastTech. Cell phone, medical, flashlight, etc. all use them. Your local dealer, or his distributor, gets them from China also. Korea, Viet Nam, Thailand could all provide better service than China Post. I have purchased electronic supplies for years direct from China but nearly everything I get now comes from Thailand.

To say the Chinese government doesn't care would be like saying the US government doesn't care about employment for its citizens....................Hold on, let me rethink that last statement.

Holy........ Forgot I have a bag if these in my RC Plane building supplies. Time to go digging.

Awesome! (I used to do the planes too, my favorite was a flying wing called the Zagi)

Yeah, they work perfect. The point is fine enough to push the ball out of the way, but the cone shape keeps it from leaking.
