For those of you with "stinky" brass mods, there's a guy on Facebook who goes by OCD that does ceramic coatings on mods for around $40 including return shipping. This might seem like a lot for a $20-$30 mod but it beats sticking a mod back in the box or polishing it every week. JMO, but I find j-wraps to be rather tacky. Anyways, he does great work.

Oh my, those aren't mine. That's a shameless plug for OCD straight off his FB page. I'll be using his services once I have something worth sending... FT order of brass Nemesis and Taifun GT + SS tank section are on the way. I'm thinking black for both the mod and TFGT, I like black a lot. $23 mod + $40 paint job might seem like a lot, but it's still no comparison to the real deal.

Default shipping has been Singapore Post/USPS since 20 November...U can expect a 30-35 day delivery to the US.. Selecting just Singapore Post Registered Airmail ((RQxxxxSG) air mail is faster than USPS/SG Post (LKxxxxxSG) because Registered SG Post bypasses Singapore all together and ships directly from HK, and knocks off 7-10 days in transit...fastest shipping to the US is USPS epacket China Post..

It has been said that USPS e-packet China Post is the fastest to the US so far, what about paying extra for the EMS Express shipping option? Worth the $16?

Four orders placed late November.

HKP (1 order) about 2 weeks.
SG (2 orders) took 3 weeks and 4 weeks.

Order #4, $1.70 glass tank, shipped Nov 20. No tracking so still waiting.

I really think it's luck of the draw on how quickly a package gets to you by the different carriers. I have had 1 from HKP and 3 from SingPost and 1 epacket. The HKP was right at 3 weeks. the 2 from Singpost were just a tad quicker. !8 and 19 days. The 3rd from Singpost has been in LA for almost a week. The epacket shipped really fast and got all the way through to sorted through facility in Shenzen in 4 days from order and now it has shown the preshipment status on the USPS tracking since. Nothing else except Aftership even shows it and it was supposed to take 4-9 days it is now 8 since the order so I am guessing it is not going to make it in the 9 days timefram. I am not worried it will get here or it won't and I'll get something else if it doesn't.

In case anyone is wondering - the epacket option for the US is NOT good if your order includes liquids or batteries (even built-in batteries). In my case, they switched it to Sweden Post. Here's the email I got...

Dear Barbara,

As you may notice that your order is shipped via Sweden Post, this is caused due to the battery (or liquid) in your order.

Since e-packet you choose cannot ship any kinds of battery including built-in battery such as ego battery and liquid, we transferred to shipping method for it.

Thanks for your understanding in advance. Merry Christmas and happy new year.

Barbara....that's very odd....myself and many others have ordered from FT, with Epacket to the US and Canada and had no problems with ego batts being ordered , shipped and delivered....also whats odd is that FT sent them Sweden Post who they rarely use...For all USA orders and ego batts they normally use Singapore Post/USPS...I know many other Chinese vendors commonly use the much longer Sweden post and Swiss Post, but FT rarely does..

Ordered a Taifun clone on the 3rd of December. Wasn't expecting it until after Christmas but it showed up on the 23rd with the dreaded chromed deck and nicks in the center tube. I opened a ticket within hours of receiving it. Surprisingly, they gave me a partial refund for the nicked center tube and they'll be sending a replacement deck when they're in stock again. Excellent customer service! Thank you Fasttech!

No sooner did I get this posted and then the tracking on the order still in Shenzen shows up in Chicago all of a sudden. I should have it by friday latest. I am not holding my breath for tomorrow.
