It is a 350 mah bat with a the small black beauty ring and a boge shorty carto. It has it's limits but I actually find myself grabbing at least the little ego with whatever head a lot these days for short trips since I'm in shorts a lot this time of year and the little combo doesn't flop around or stick out as much.

I don't think you can find a ego like this in a auto (at least I haven't seen one) If you want something similar from FT then your in luck. They are offering a 450 mah in a little combo as a new offering today. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10005125/1411010-ego-k-ce4-2-in-1-usb-rechargeable-450mah . You'll still need a wall wart, and a beauty ring that you can find on FT and the carto's I would just get state side. Combine that with one of these 1100 twist https://www.fasttech.com/p/1408805 and pick up a couple more genuine clearo's state side and you will have a pretty good starter set.

would you happen to have a larger picture of your little palm unit ;)

Waht you gonna do with 20 watts/ roast a chicken?:danger:

lol, not exactly sir. i have gotten sucked into the realm of sub-ohm vaping on mechs. i think my most flavorful build was a 4/3 wrap of twisted 28 gauge kanthal on ss cable metering out to .4/.5 ohms on a freshly charged 18650 hybrid panasonic. that is in the ballpark of 25-30W. if you have good wicking, and a big enough air hole, it surprisingly isn't that hot. just in my experience. however, i tried taking one wrap off that coil to make it a 2/3 wrap of twisted 28 gauge and that was a little too spicy for me. then again, if i bored out the air hole from 5/64 as it is now, to 3/32, it would balance out and make the temperature more like that of the 4/3 wrap. air hole expansion is key to high wattage, sub-ohm vaping IMO. you have to like open draws to do sub-ohms. no one with a .4 ohm coil is vaping out of a 1mm air hole, i guarantee u that, unless of course they wanna get turned into a roast chicken :D

Same as me,i have same setup,but i have a 2/3 wrap at .7ohms using 1860 Efest batts,with stock RSST/AGA tanks,no drilling,just made the air holes a touch bigger,happy as a pig in :censored::thumbs:

I know bout the aor hole thing,it has too be enlarged or it just dont cut it,it awesome doing an easy draw and getting MASSIVE clouds fast and hard.I dont even go near my nova tanks at all and my poor Vamo is just an ''expensive'' volt meter now.Im also surprised my RBA tanks dont get hot,i just love the SS CABLE.

You may have figured out where FT gets some of their stuff but there is no such thing as a Vamo clone. The company that is suspected to have first made the Vamo freely sells the boards and always has. Anyone is able to make Vamo "clones" making them not clones.

I've seen polished SS, brushed SS and a polished SS that still had machining grooves so a lot of different places make them.

There are simply too many FT Vamos on these forums to claim there is an inherent issue with cheaper electronics with the ones FT has.
I have not had any problem with my FT V2 Vamo not adjusting and I'm constantly changing ohms. Vamos have always had their ohm readings questioned. The burn with the V2 is related to it magically changing the NO1/2 modes and it happens with all V2s no matter where they're from.

Absolutely ^

Go to Alibaba and search Vamo. There are a dozen FACTORIES offering spec Vamos in various finishes and extension tube sizes. The only firmware issue I've ever heard of with a Vamo is the Rainbow Heaven V3 release that continued to fire in wattage mode briefly after the fire button was released which resulted in a recall. FT was not involved with that one.

EDIT:
I had my V2 from FT change to NO1 mode on me. I noticed right away when I took that first hit at 3w as it set its self back there when it changed. I just figured I had just set it down on the button and it got switched that way. It also fits a t3 just fine, well it is a tight fit but it works just fine.

Now I have heard of two firmware issues with Vamo lol ^

EDIT:

That one is pretty common in the Vamo forum. "Help my Vamo has started tasting burnt.", "Check the NOX.", "OK, all better now."
But whether it magically does it or if the button gets pushed is an unknown.
I'm sure my wattage changes are because the button gets pushed in my pocket. I don't have a good habit of turning it off for a short ride in my pocket.

It's like mine switching off. Could've pushed the button 5 times, but as hard as it is to push it that fast while trying some times I doubt it. Could've been a short. Could've been a weak battery connection. Could've been a lot of things, including my board could be bad. As long as it doesn't make a habit of it.

man, i hear ya, with my shipment of my first mechs from FT, i got an SS vamo to "backup" my gunmetal vamo. cus OBVIOUSLY i would need 2 vamos. but only after a week with my mechs, they are now a volt meter...also they check ohms, so thats awesome (i don't even know if my ss vamo's buttons work, i havent even fired it...). i guess one will be for ohms and the other for volts. and i'll just tie an end of a rope to each one and keep it by my bed side so i can nunchaku anyone who dares touch my mechs:D

Have you tried your Vamos since getting your mechs or is it a case of new vs old?

I ask because with 2 new RDAs filling up my Vamos I had a left over Vivi Nova with a flavor I like. So I threw it on an eGo battery and it actually tastes better than it did on the Vamos. I'm sure it won't stay there when I'm not using RDAs because of battery life but when it goes to a Vamo I'm going to try harder to duplicate the eGo power.

Personally you've only slightly made me afraid of getting a mech. I don't see it as being any different than an eGo in unregulated mode, which I was not a fan of, I want consistency. So I think I'm safe getting a mech for oxidizing coils.

Im ok that its now a volt meter,if you want a good quality volt meterone you gotta pay 30 bucks and up anyway, and you have too fumble with wires and stuff.the Vamo is a perfect combo with a mech.I never thought id see the day my Vamo would be ''discarded''.I have 3 mechs now,the Vamo is becoming obselete.

I'm interested in why you don't like it. does it stem from the reports of the settings changing on their own from time to time, or you just flat don't like it for some other reason? I was considering a FT order for one just to have around so I'm curious...

no, i love the vamo, dont get me wrong. i just prefer the instant firing, and look and feel of mechanicals now. i still will use my vamo, i was just exaggerating. i have an agat2 and an rsst designated for each of my vamos. they will be 1.2 ohm builds and i'll vape them at 4.8v, yummy vapor all day. i think it's just that mechs are like new toys for me, and i've had my vamo for months now. it still hits great, zero problems. i would actually say a higher voltage (in the low 5v, high 4v range) on a vamo (using No1 setting, as No2 cuts voltage very noticeably throughout the 3-6v range) with a 1.2 ohm coil is very comparable to my current sub-ohm builds on my mechs. i will have 2 vamos and 5 mechs total when my diablo comes in hopefully this week. i will try and use a different mod exclusively for each day of the week, we'll see how that goes...

first time that technical difficulties made me feel optimistic

I hope you know the button dont lock on the TVS,sorry but ya may need a heads up.

The factory says there isn't a ring lock. We've played with it just now and unfortunately there really isn't one.
If the order is still processing you can change it too the Sentinal.

right i have heard about this, but i think there are ways around it. like in the sentinel, you can screw in the bottom switch to adjust the height of the button (doesnt adjust the throw because you still have to push a certain distance to fire), so hopefully i can be able to screw it in so it is flush and have it still fire, though i cannot do that in the sentinel (it wont fire). if that fails, i will just swap out the spring in it for the spring in my k100 which is a very sturdy spring (the weight of the k100 is the same as the tvs, a little heavier actually, but that may include the weight of the carto, drip sleeve and drip tip though)
