Well, I got my Igo-L today. I got this because I wanted to try an rba and I heard nothing but good about these.
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1400500

So, I screwed it on top of my SVD and whammo! I mean, fizzle...
I'm doing something wrong.
The vapor is ice cold and just about knocks me down, visible vapor is almost non-existent. I cranked the SVD to it's max and same thing, it's like inhaling un-vaporized juice.
So I have to ask, what am I doing wrong? Am I underpowered for this rig since I can only do 4 amps? It came rigged up with dual coils reading 1.8ohms at the head. I thought I could use my existing equipment as long as I kept the resistance within normal limits (1.5-3.0) except it might take longer to heat up (which it does).
It won't work on my SVD, the MVP or Provari (either the mini or the normal one). It's extremely cold and harsh.
Any suggestions?

If your in the states I can suggest mtbakervapor, I love there clove and everything else I have gotten from them, and thats what I will be comparing the fasttech stuff to when I get it. Taste varies from person to person tho, so we'll see.[/QUOTE]

I think I thought about trying them or may have tried them. I will check my orders to be sure. If not I may give them a try depending on how the Dekang is. I really love my own cigar mix with cherry vanilla and rose. My SVD likes it too. My wife like when I vape my vanillas. The think I am worried about is my wife may think we are back 30 years ago in college when she would steal my clove smokes at parties. My wife doesn't smoke or vape.

My Fasttech IGO-L the factory installed coil was just horrible and shortish. I immediately took it out and rebuilt it. Now it is working just fine.

Got my next fasttech order in, this one was just:

$15.99 ATTY Rebuildable Atomizer with Clear Tank (2.5mL) - 1*airhole / 1.0

The packaging was a nice touch, very solid. Comes with the atty itself, a tiny flat head screw driver, two o rings, one spare stainless steel wick, 4 kanthal wires and a pre coiled SS wick in the atty it self. A lot of extras in a nice packaging. The pre-coiled wick isn't done very well, its WAY to lose.

Now, the atty itself is a thing of beauty. I wish I didn't get a colored one because the cap is aluminum, not stainless steel, but it looks pretty. getting a .6 ohm reading on the coil in it...and I just noticed the coil seems to be two kantal wires twisted together, then wrapped around the SS wick three times...not sure what the deal is but I'll recoil it anyway after I clean it out.

Compared to genuine AGA for $16.95 or AGA-S for $19.95 or AGA-T2 for $26.95 which would you get?

I'm thinking SS vs not.
That's why I got the DID clone for $8 to practice on figuring I'd go genuine for the RBA's later. But if it's real glass that's tempting, at least to mess with.

My IGO L and K100 have both shipped!
Now the waiting begins...
Can't wait to try the Kanthal ribbon on that IGO L:)

You'll love that. I have 8 or 9 wraps (my eyes aren't doing good today) with .5mm ribbon on a 16ga needle with ekowool. 5w on my Vamo with DIY caramel cappuncinno or tiramisu has become my daily coffee vape. Not harsh or burnt (which was an issue with my dual coil V9 and ribbon) but gives loads of vapor and nicotine.

I just discovered FT last night... I was like a kid in a candy store... ordered multi packs of the CE4 black tip, CE4 colored tip, CE5, and CE6's... even got myself one of the fancy CE4W with the LED to try.. and a few batteries. It's not much money wasted if they don't work.. but from the reviews I've read, they've been working good for most ppl.

If these all work good, I'll be plenty stocked on disposables for a while :)

Me too! A few days ago and lot of stuff already in the wishlist...

Ok I guess I'll give that a shot. It's not shorting out or anything, it's just no matter what I mount it on, it's almost like I'm using a depleted battery sortof behavior... but amplified so much it makes me gag.

My Vamo ViVi showed up. I asked my wife to open it and charge the batteries. She thinks the charger is crappy which is consistent with reports.

But, I'm happy because I'll be using it with my favorite liquid that showed up a day early. I only spent half a day without it. Vaping tonight, Yay!

It took exactly one week to come in.

4a is plenty. Generally if it's harsh and little vapor it's an airflow issue.
#1 make your own coil/wick. I would stick with a single coil (no real reason, mine just works great with a single coil).
#2 line the air hole up with the coil.
#3 increase the size of the air hole. (I think I made mine 1/16", I could measure if you want. It's hard steel and takes cobalt or carbide. It will dull regular bits quickly. You could also use a stone or diamond bit to grind it larger if you can't find other hard bits.)

I have a AGR+, but no AGA's. Compared to my RSST tho:

Fill hole for screw
Glass
Double o-ring seal for top cap
betting fitting drip tips
comes with more
nicer packaging

I would probably go with the FT over the RSST. The RSST has that nice spring center post, but thats about the only thing I can say for it at this point.

My butane lighter crapped out on me so just ordered a new one from FT. It's the one shaped like a gun, for a little more than $4. Not sure how well it works, and didn't research, just picked it because.. well.. I thought it looked cool lol.

Threw in a few colors/styles of those stone jade drip tips. Those are crazy cheap for stone, hope they fit well. That's about the only issue with drip tips; as long as they fit I'm golden.

These do work relatively well, there are some design and quality issues though. Some complain about leaking but all of mine have been completely leak-free... and they don't flood out laying down or anything. I've also heard about a nsty taste, but I fortunately, haven't had that issue either.
I've had a few that had airflow problems, wouldn't work on MVP, SVD at all and were REAL tight on ZMax... they all work well on regular Ego batteries though. Not sure why but some worked and most wouldn't (airflow problem).
After having both I've decided it's worth the extra buck to just get iclear 16's or the EVOD's.

I boiled my first with the stock coil setup and it registered 1.7 ohms. This coil setup is power hungry. I pushed my Vamo and SVD to the limits with an 18650 and it hits well. It hit very well with stacked 18350 above 5 volts completely stock. But obviously once modded the sky is the limit. I'm very happy with this RDA and own more than I care to mention :p

I have the IGO-L and the ATTY on their way ... can't wait to try them both, sounds like they both can deliver ... IF I can figure out a good way to do the coils. :)

Once I figured out NOT to have two huge .5mm ribbon coils (3 ohms each) to make a 1.5 ohm head in my V9 it became much less power hungry. I don't know why, I'm using the same 3 ohm coils for the same 1.5 ohm head, just smaller 32ga wire. But now instead of 10w-12w and a long time to heat up it plugs along at 5w-6w just like any 1.X ohm single coil I use.
I understand heating up the mass of ribbon wire will take longer but what I don't understand is how the 32ga dual can be so different than the ribbon and so like a single as far as wattage setting goes.

I also don't understand how my 32ga dual can be not power hungry but you say the FT one was (I never fired mine up). I don't know which coil came with my IGO-L but all the wire I got from FT is a smaller than my 32ga meaning it should heat up quicker. Dual coils really confuse me.

I was tempted to get more IGO-L clones on my last order but fought the urge. I like it but having a bunch of the same RDAs doesn't make much sense and would only encourage me to get more VV/VW mods :)

What I said... I was a little more conservative. 5 bucks for 50 ml though? If it tastes goods and isn't made from water out of the Yangtze river then totally worth it. just after pouring more liquid down the drain and using it as expensive pesticide I am leery of liquid makers.
You are safe, it's the Pearl River
