I have been on some 3 and 4 month long co-ops, I know about set it and forget it....
This is the first time I have ordered from fasttech, just trying to get a handle on how they do things.
Took me a good few orders but I now just fire and forget, well check about once every few days anyway, rather than every few hours, I have complete faith that what I ordered will arrive at some point.
Raise a ticket and ask, they usually reply within 24hrs (time differences). They will be able to tell you when you can expect it to ship.
Shipment 1 of 3 has now entered the San Francisco Twilight Zone.

My last shipment was only there 18 Hrs! But then again that was a Tuesday.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the San. Fran black hole.
My first order made it to San Fran, then no updates for 3 days. Next update was out for delivery and in my mailbox that day. I've stopped checking since then.
Ummm. Yea, your going to need some batteries and a charger. Look through this thread for recomendo's.
You should also read up on what you just bought. There are some excellent Youtube vids for this model.
Oh, and you are still double posting your sig banner when you put it in your post as well.
This may not be good. Got my picture today. They wrapped the label around the package, half on one side and half on the other.
Maybe it will work better putting HK on one side and US on the other but I'm imagining this causing nothing but confusion once it hits SF, "Oh look, here's a package HK post sent here by mistake, it doesn't have the US label."
If there's no confusion and it makes it on a HK flight this weekend I could have my mech by next weekend.
After $800 don't you pretty much own everything they have?

Unfortunately, the coil reads zero/open on my meter so I took it apart and I am glad I did. It is filthy from machining, the white paper towel reveals some grime from the threads, etc so I am going to run it all through the ultrasonic then re-coil it properly. Sadly, I have to wait for my NiCr wire to arrive before I can test it.
Overall, it's a very nice clone, the threads are done very well and it seems to be of excellent quality overall. I only wish I had an option for a SS tank instead of the plastic when I ordered. I do understand that Genuine Ithaka parts fit them so I'll probably be ordering a SS tank when I order extra cups.

When I received my package it was wrapped this way...it's okeedokee.
It might be an easier way to look at information on the label instead of having to look at the whole label
