Well I placed my first fast tech order, took 9 days from date shipped, caught my mail carrier at the box, she informs me I received a package from hong Kong that was open and empty... guess I'm going to go get the empty package tomorrow so I can take a pic and open a ticket. I guess someone stole it somewhere along the shipping line? Ugh.

2agmavs.jpg

Those m16 are using 18350's right?

Just want to add my exp with clearos, if you like clearos try the iclear16's i've had bad taste with various ce6 from FT while all the iclears i bought are perfect. I have 3 for me, my mother and girlfriend 3 each and i've been giving them away to new vapers and never heard a complaint.

not too offtopic, but my ithaka is going to be delivered tomorrow...it's going to be a long night :p

I'm liking this set up,

https://www.fasttech.com/product/1398603 V3 Mod

https://www.fasttech.com/product/1400500 IGO-L clone

https://www.fasttech.com/product/1141105 NCR18650A

Although this is the atty I have on it with dual coil I'm not sure it's the best one they have, although it works with a little modding (adding holes for the second coil) and it's cheap if you want DC, https://www.fasttech.com/product/1391004
The Trident you mention is also supposed to be good.
The CGR batteries you list are no longer available and don't plan on them coming back. I think the ones I listed are better in every way anyway.

Guess it depends on the look you are after but the brass m16 and the stainless/brass/copper private v2s are really hard hitters with sick looks IMO. I prefer a less brass look most of the time and the private is a more refined mech once you play with the pin. I really can"t say enough good things about the v2. Although I don't disagree with you those batteries are nice! Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they have a lower amp limit than the CGRs which can come into play on sub ohm builds. Since CGRs are not available I ordered 50 sets so its safe to say I'm pretty happy with NCR A's :p
I've owned pretty much every good mech @ FT. I ordered the chi you the day it was released and I almost have the revised unit in my hand. The TVS is up there too but I sold em and have more on the way to retest them against each other... it's time for another mech face off!

Had to be someone pretty determined. FT packages rather tight.

VAPE MAIL!!1! OWWW!!

View attachment 246622

Loaded 'er up with the Liqua Tiramisu. Not only is it delicious... it finally sealed the deal for my boyf. He's on board to stop the analog madness! He sent a pic of my new setup to all his buddies, too XD

Pretty purple... What is that??... Got a link?

It's manual with three voltage settings. Standard five-click affair. I'm definitely gonna have to get another one... just wish they offered the battery only in more than just black. Ho hum!

I have one of these (in purple too - great minds think alike). Anyway, I'm not too fond of it. Don't like the button - you have to push it just right. And it's pretty flush with the body of the battery itself - I prefer the way the ego button sticks out just a little bit. If you read the reviews, you'll see that everyone warns against the carto that comes in the x8 tank so I went ahead and ordered different cartos at the same time (just threw away the one that came in the tank). Well, either the carto I got was not very good either or I'm just not a carto/tank person. Not impressed. And I definitely don't like the metal drip tip.

On the bright side, the battery also looks good with a purple mini vivi nova. (Probably also looks good with a full size vivi nova but I don't have any of those.)

That's too bad :( I'm really loving mine so far. Haven't had any issue with button depression. Maybe one size hand does not fit all? S'all I can figure. Boyf pushes the button awkwardly.

Well, I am starting to get a little miffed at FT customer service. They are taking forever to streighten out a very simple matter.

I made an order monday, realized I forgot something and quickly canceled, took the gift certificate, and immediately reordered with the additional item. I tried to apply the gift certificate and it said certificate invalid. :(

I opened a ticket early Tues. morning and they did not get back to me until almost three days later (late Thur. night). Their reply was "What is your gift code". Come on Guy! It's your code, look it up! What a bunch of bull. So within twenty minutes I responded with the code and now it is over 36 hours later and I still haven't heard back from them!

I started trying to make this order on Mon. The waiting for vape mail is bad enough but this is getting a little silly.

Heres the smallest eGo I could find.
Baby eGo

I've never ordered from China before, mostly because my Paypal account was in mothballs. I just got that squared away and am planning to place an order. I'm interested in inexpensive eGo starter kits like this one:

EGO-T 650mah Battery With CE4 Cartomizer Express Kit - Ocean Vapor

I have no loyalty to to any vendor there. I would like to have several simple eGo starter kits on-hand that I could provide to people that are considering the switch.

I'd appreciate any suggestions. Especially where I could get the most bang for the buck.

I've seen this type of problem more than enough in this thread so here is a bit of friendly advice to anyone needing to modify an order by adding items to it:

Just make a separate order. FT offers free shipping anyway and it is the preferred method by the FT staff.
This will avoid all the delay in response times and ensure that the order(s) are being prepared and shipped rather than canceled and reordered.

It was a $3 item so I would of had to pay some shipping. I was trying to save a little by including it in the big order. Nothing time sensitive in my order but this is taking a Looooooong time to resolve. Still no response from the second post asking for the code number that THEY gave me.:glare:

Actually, I really could use the razor blades soon. I'm going to have a ZZ top look going before I get them at this rate:p

He's right,,,,,

I cancelled 2 items (wrong items) and reordered the right items,,, leaving only a CE4 left in the old order,,,,,,,,,,should have cancelled that too,,,,,,,,I ended up paying 1.50 additional shipping.

not a big deal, but I should have cancelled it and just re-ordered with my other items,,,,,

and Capt, Shay,,,,,,,,,,,,,try that gift code again, if you haven't,,,,,,,

Mine gave me that response the first time I tried to use it,,,,,,,,,so I tried again 5 minutes later, and it worked,,,,,,,,,,,IDK why. Computer glitch, I'm guessing.

FT ships free regardless of quantity or total price.

You must have ordered priority for the extra price. (witch was not mentioned in your OP)

Straight from the FT page:

Shipping

Standard FREE shipping orders are shipped via Airmail parcels and Registered Airmail parcels.

Destinations: worldwide

Expedited shipping (Speedpost Global Express) is available as an upgrade during the checkout process. Upgrade costs vary by products ordered and shipping destination.

It even states that:

www.fasttech.com said:
FastTech sometimes splits your orders into multiple shipments to avoid delays.

So if not requiring priority upgrade, it is best to just create a different order.

I waited until the next morning to report it just in case it was a glitch, trying it repeatedly. I may have tried it one or two (hundred) times since then as well.

Still "Waiting for staff response":glare:
