FT ships free regardless of quantity or total price.

You must have ordered priority for the extra price. (witch was not mentioned in your OP)

Straight from the FT page:

It even states that:

So if not requiring priority upgrade, it is best to just create a different order.

Well, to use your words, "I have read on this thread many times" . To be honest, I have never
really read the FT page but many times people on here have said that you need a minimum order
to get the "good" free shipping. I'm not even completely sure this is true however, that is why I
did it the way I did.

I believe it is $15 min for free shipping.

I'll post this again because it seems you didn't read my previous post:

Well, I am starting to get a little miffed at FT customer service. They are taking forever to streighten out a very simple matter.

I made an order monday, realized I forgot something and quickly canceled, took the gift certificate, and immediately reordered with the additional item. I tried to apply the gift certificate and it said certificate invalid. :(

I opened a ticket early Tues. morning and they did not get back to me until almost three days later (late Thur. night). Their reply was "What is your gift code". Come on Guy! It's your code, look it up! What a bunch of bull. So within twenty minutes I responded with the code and now it is over 36 hours later and I still haven't heard back from them!

I started trying to make this order on Mon. The waiting for vape mail is bad enough but this is getting a little silly.

FastTech is doing the same thing to me. They sent me a defective nitecore i2 charger. Im trying to send it back. They keep replying to me every 3 days but its going no where. So finally I just shipped the charger back to them yesterday, I sent them the tracking number. Hopefully they send me a new one. I told them they dont have to reimburse me for the shipping costs if they send me the nitecore i4. Will update on what happens.

Its been one of those days lol. Nail in tire, empty FT package, and nonfunctional iTaste vv 3 fresh out of the mailbox, all in ONE day!

That scares me, just placed my 1st order with fast tech and it is for the itaste v3, don't mind waiting to get it, but sure don't want to have to send something back though.

To clarify my itaste didn't come from FT although it did arrive non working, but my FT order had been opened and stolen

The limit is slightly under $15 (not sure the exact value), over that it defaults to 10-14 day shipping, under that you need to manuallychoose the option to pay a few cents extra.

Not sure what happens if you order a $5 item and a 20$ item and then cancel the $20, they might downgrade the small order.

My experience with the refunds and codes. I ordered a $3 usb adapter, it was doa, I email, they give me a code. I sit down to reorder, apply the code, then decided to wait until I place a larger order. The next night I go to place the larger order, put the code in, it says invalid. Immediately upset but wasn't going to let $3 stop my from ordering. A bit of inspection shows the code was still applied to my cart from the previous night. Look closely during the checkout process to see if your credit is being applied.

Guess it depends on the look you are after but the brass m16 and the stainless/brass/copper private v2s are really hard hitters with sick looks IMO. I prefer a less brass look most of the time and the private is a more refined mech once you play with the pin. I really can"t say enough good things about the v2. Although I don't disagree with you those batteries are nice! Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they have a lower amp limit than the CGRs which can come into play on sub ohm builds. Since CGRs are not available I ordered 50 sets so its safe to say I'm pretty happy with NCR A's :p
I've owned pretty much every good mech @ FT. I ordered the chi you the day it was released and I almost have the revised unit in my hand. The TVS is up there too but I sold em and have more on the way to retest them against each other... it's time for another mech face off!

I think they're 6a and I think the CGRs are 10a. 4.2v @ .7Ω is 6a, 4.2v@ 4Ω is 10.5a. So yes I'd say if you're pushing extremely low Ω you should do the math first (as always) and the 30a Sony's may be the safer option (although not going crazy with extremely low Ω is even safer).

The main reason I'm presently liking them in mechs is the A's seem to have a reversed discharge curve compared to the others. I vaped for over a week on my mech @ 1.5Ω before it got below 3.7v. Granted it's not my favorite thing but I did vape it some every day. Also in my eVic they took forever to drop to 50% and then went quickly to 0%, which is the opposite of all the others I have.
The way the CGR reacted to trying to oxidize a stainless wick I won't be doing that again. I get some new RBA's this week to try it more intensively with the A's to see if they allow it.
After that and seeing the puff count after a few recharges I may be ordering multiple sets of A's to use in everything (they have a respectable puff count in the eVic when new).

Just checked under gift cert. again. It says $59.00 available  Only one cart going. I WILL let $60.00 stop me from ordering.

Close to 48 hours now since they asked me for the number they gave me :glare: They were just stalling I am certain.

Kind of bummed out. Only other ticket I had was a couple of moths ago and they were quick to answer. My fairly high opinion of their customer service is starting to slide down hill. I will say again, I think the E-cigg market is overwhelming them.

Anyone having problems with the K100 and the Panasonic NCR18650PD batteries? The K100 works great with my CGR's, but with my PD's there is no current on the atomiser and the button gets hot. That's a short circuit, but I have absolutely no clue how a short can happen in the button...
Both the CGR's and the PD's work great in my Vamo and KTS.

This is what I came across. ncr18650a
If these specs correlate then 6.2 amps would be ok down to a .7ohm build and the CGRs would be good down to a .5ohm build.
As always, I would appreciate your feedback.

That's a protected version but the numbers go along with what I've found for unprotected.
I was wondering about the 8.5a maximum and if what we do counts as continuous (which would be the 6.2a) or if the 5-10 seconds we puff would be the 8.5a. Of course considering it 6.2a would give some cushion even if short puffs could go to 8.5a. I like to play it safe. :)

Along with my RBAs I have some wire coming that should be suitable for sub ohm, I really don't see myself going below 1Ω. That in the dual V9 should suit me very well since around 2Ω coils is where I like it with 30ga wire or .5mm ribbon.

They are slow at weekends to respond.

Has anyone bought one of these yet?
If you have gotten one, what do you think about it
    https://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10005448/1432604
I can't remember when FT got it in ...it may be too soon for someone to have gotten it already

I don't have one from fast tech but i did buy one from madvapes last year and it works. I wouldn't trust it to high current but 1.5ohm and up it is fine. but it could be used for high current i suppose.
