It's hard to tell for sure because of the paint, but in my opinion it's built SOLID. It has some weight to it for it's size if that helps. Also you can get just the battery for $24, and the forums say they're shipping V3's.

Im just trying to figure out whats going on here:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/requests-opinions-reviews/464670-fast-tech-itaste-vv-3-0-a.html

Every single thing i can find indicates they are 100% genuine, all the stateside kits i can see are identical to the FT kit.

I got my VV, SVD and MVP from FT and they're definitely genuine... even come with a nice printed manual.

Logo is starting to wear off the VV because I use it so much.

I'm currently using the Sony 30amps and love them, but from the tests I've read the Samsungs are better for a few reasons. They have more usable voltage, they have less voltage loss, and, of course, there's a little more capacity. I have some on the way to try for myself. Here are two tests from the super-techy flashlight crowd:

Thanks buddy! I love that flashlight crowd, they do all the technical battery stuff for us. I'll probably get the Sony and the Samsung to compare. Can you post a link for me for the Samsung? Whenever I try a search on FT my phones browser closes.

Just the other night I was thinking of buying a flashlight from fasttech. I figured I have all these 18650s, why not get more use from them. Reading some more on the ft forum and blf, I don't know if I can afford another obsessive hobby like that.

I honestly have no idea what makes flashflights a hobby, but it's a big one. I don't want to find out either lol, like you said, can't afford another hobby. I could maybe afford it monetarily, but can't afford the time. So much time already spent on vaping (not a complaint, I love this hobby).

Hmm. This is a friendly forum. You are being pretty nasty. Why not stop the personal attacks? They help no-one and annoy most of us.

I agree with every single thing you just said. you may have missed what started it, and it wasn't anything I said either.
