There is 2 types of carriers. Government, such as USPS and Hong Kong Post), and Private (such as DHL, Fedex and UPS). If the government postal systems agree to it, they ship in conjunction with each other. HKP and USPS both have similar enough guidelines to work with each other. So you could go to your local post office and mail something to Hong Kong and USPS will just forward it to HKP. Since USPS doesn't go to individual businesses or residences in Hong Kong, the USPS options first goes through HKP. This is recommended because it is usually the fastest and cheapest way to deliver a parcel or letter.

How did yours end up in Singapore Post? Depends on when and what was shipped. fasttech, as near as I can tell, has a channel straight to Singapore which bypasses Hong Kong customs and makes it to USPS through Singapore. fasttech decides, according to what you ordered and what is happening in Hong Kong, which is better for your order if you choose USPS.

I don't think SP actually transits through Singapore, I think it goes through the SP offices in HK and then out to the destination country. They both pass through HK customs, that's why FT is switching batteries to China Post which must go direct from the Chinese mainland at a guess.

Yeah, I should have phrased that "Hong Kong Post customs". Regardless it means it meets Singapore Post regulations instead of HKP's but , yes, anything going internationally is subject to customs in both the sending and receiving countries regardless of carriers (but those are different regulations being enforced).

Thanks. I googled the distance between Hong Kong and Singapore ... they're 1600 miles apart. So, the idea that Singapore Post has offices in Hong Kong makes sense. My orders were entirely e-cig related. The first order was real simple. It was 5 eGo Clone starter kits and 5 USB AC Wall Chargers. Nothing special about it. I accepted the default/recommended/free shipping option for a $41 order. My order was placed 08/31 and shipped 09/02.

If they took the time to read back one page they would see talk of it. The age of instant gratification. Just give me the answer now. My time is to valuable to look back one page and your time is less valuable so just take your time to give me a direct answer.

But hey, people take the time and answer them so......meh. No big deal. It's the interwebs after all

That does not however mean that we shouldn't set someone up for being lazy. We are sitting here talking about doing it so it's not like a sneak attack. And besides, it's the interwebs after all.

I say for the first complainer after 12:00 noon Eastern (about 50 minutes from this post) we tell the person how sorry we are for them and maybe about the fire they had at the HK post whearehouse and how FT say it's not their problem, you have to take it up with HK post who only speak Chinese and are available from 12:00-6:00 AM their local time. Or something like that:p

But,

The length of time it takes for people to reply with a snarky comment they could have just answered the question even quicker.

Threads that get flooded with the same questions is also flooded with useless statements to the inquirer.

But then after some one take the time to make a snarky comment, then some one else gets offended and takes the time to make multiple comments om the snarky comment, and then some one takes the time to answer the multiple comments, and then some one takes the time to make a post to point out the absurdity of the whole process, the original poster still could have taken two minutes to try to find his own answer before posting.

So in the end it's better to ignore the inquirer unless you are going to answer their question. :)

Why not take all this mess where it belongs - FastTech

The mods/Administrator went through a lot of trouble just to cater to the FASTTECH crowd. Show your appreciation by using the proper forum.
This thread is best left for introducing newly found products of interest.:)

Good idea!

Oooohhhh, he's pretty! Vape in peace!

On a side note, my SVD and a little Bagua clone just shipped. The Bagua is just because it's pretty and I really like the 8 diagram symbolism. A Taoist mech mod...:)

I'll be expecting them around the end of September, which is fine by me and typical of my post office. No batteries in that package, and my stuff always goes via Singapore Post.

It is impossible to get 18650 and 18350 batteries here, so I ordered mine from FT the last week of August, thinking that the problem would be getting them INTO my country. Well, they arrived last week, slowed down not by HK or SP but by our holidays right now, and I am REALLY glad to have them in my little fist. No point getting battery-run stuff if you can't get the batteries into the country. Now they will just wait very patiently for the mods to arrive.

The pin adjustment method is completely awesome. The switch isn't everything it should be, it does fire every time but it's a little bit crunchy. All the threading is absolutely perfect. The engraving is also less than stellar.
I'd say that overall, it's a 9/10 easily. The finish is almost perfect. It stands up on the switch without firing although the switch has a considerable amount of wobble in it.
All in all, no one would mistake this for a genuine Nemesis, but it's still a really nice looking mod and seems to perform very well so far. I have my reservations about the durability of the switch, but only time will tell. I may take it apart later and see if there is any polishing that can be done to smooth it up. I'd definitely buy another

It that a bottom button switch? Try to screw it in tighter... my Sentinel arrived with a wobbly switch, screwed in perfectly, and no issues now =]
