And this: From here>>HK Post: Delay In Outbound Air Mail Services (10 September 2013): FastTech Forums

"Again, until this loosens, there is a higher chance for packages consisting of only e-liquid and/or batteries to be returned to us by shipping carriers. When they are returned, we will fully refund customers and cancel their affected orders."

That is what they were initially TOLD by HKP. Once they started actually receiving stuff they SAW it was "95%" batteries.

Max G according to the site that have stated shipping via China Post, which I am assuming they are shipping batteries through. How long that will last... who knows. I have an order I placed on the 30th of August it showed acceptance in Hong Kong Post on the 2nd of September and that is where it still sits. My order has 2 18650s 218350s a Trident clone and m16 clone. No clue if I'll get it or it will get returned. Either way, I'd say ordering batteries from FT for the time being at least is risky business.

In order to help everyone keep informed, FT now has messages on the home page, the order page and just about everywhere I've seen to tell people about the HK delays and the upcoming China National Day holidays. So we can't say we weren't warned or that FT is messing around with us. :vapor:

For people unhappy about unanswered tickets, just to compare: I've had a ticket in with a famous UK vendor for 2 weeks without an answer, another one with a big US one for 5 days with no answer and another one from a US place with the kind of answer you know the person didn't read the question carefully... These were specific queries with about buying an item immediately, BTW.

So, FT is much better in the ticket-answering department, although it may take a couple of days.

On a totally lighter note, some much awaited iClear30 replacement heads and stuff is now on its way...This is it. No more stuff until next month...no more stuff until next month...I'll never make it...:)

    Straight from their website..

"FastTech confirms that all battery/e-liquid airmail packages are being affected at this time. This includes HKP/USPS, and Singapore Post.

    Here is what's happening:

    1. Packages with primarily e-liquid and/or batteries in them are now more likely to get caught and get returned to us. We'll refund in those cases.

UPDATE (9/16): FastTech is now re-routing these packages to China Post to reduce the chance of them getting returned.

    2. Packages *not* containing e-liquids/batteries will ship normally via SG post at regular speed. However those shipped via HK post will get delayed by 5 to 7 days (as we're told) as they queue up for the new mandatory x-ray scans.

If you have previously requested us to put you on Hong Kong Post only list, you may want to consider getting off that list to avoid the added wait time at Hong Kong Post.

Again, until this loosens, there is a higher chance for packages consisting of only e-liquid and/or batteries to be returned to us by shipping carriers. When they are returned, we will fully refund customers and cancel their affected orders.

We'll monitor and update as this situation develops.

We apologize for this and thank you for your understanding."

Notice what I bolded there? After they posted what you quote, they posted what onjre quoted.

Got this as well from this FT forum

"New China Post Shipment Methods (14 September 2013)

We've posted a thread regarding the Delay In Outbound Air Mail Services a few days ago.

In order to save the waiting time and prevent the potential return possibility of the packages that containing battery/e-liquid, we're now adding a new shipment methods which doesn't have this shipping limitation - China Post.

As we've checked on the returned packages, we've found that battery comprises about 95% of the returns. Seems e-liquids are not their main object now, we are postponing shifting e-liquids to China Post for now. We'll monitor on the e-liquid packages.

Starting now, packages containing batteries may ship via China Post instead of Hong Kong Post and Singapore Post. This only affecting the "shaped" batteries such as 18650, 14500, etc. and cellphone/camera replacement batteries. External Power Batteries and E-Cigarette batteries such as [eGo] are not being affected."

Seems they have fixed the problem but for all of us in limbo we'll just have to wait and see.

Ultimately, I want to buy a Reo bottom feeder. I've been rationalizing in my head that I should probably go ahead and buy an MVP just to be sure I like the form factor. You know, so I don't waste money later....

Whether you like the form factor or not, you will not be disappointed with a REO!!

So my package which was delivered to the Hong Kong post on the 3rd is still there. That's about 2 weeks in the same exact spot. I didn't have any batts or liquid just a single item (the vamo v3). I am wondering what my next step should be... Do I open a ticket and inquire about the package w/ FT or wait a full 30 days before making a peep. I seem to remember some others in this thread w/ almost the exact same situation. Has anyone else received their package after sitting in HK for a while or are we all in the same boat. anyone who had this problem and resolved it is encourage to provide a little insight. This is my first and last FT order either way. Thanks.

No insight from me, just empathy. My order (consisting of 1 trident clone and 1 bagua clone) has been sitting quietly in HK since the 5th. No batteries, no e-liquid. I'm getting tired of tracking it, so I guess I'll just stop. If it gets here, fine, if not... whatever. I'm kinda over it.

I'll be sticking to co-ops in the foreseeable future for cheap gear.

Ok here it goes, posted on fasttech's website about their October holiday coming up website:

    http://www.fasttech.com/forums/stickies/t/1037229/china-national-day-holiday-schedule-2013

    The copy/paste version:

China National Day Holiday Schedule 2013
    Hi everyone,

With China's National Day approaching, FastTech would like to advise everyone of our observance dates, October 1 HKT to October 6 HKT. Please see detailed schedule below and please note all dates are Hong Kong Time.

During this period, we will arrange several CS staffs to work extra hours on Oct 4 to guarantee priority for urgent requests like order cancellation and modification, etc. We aim to catch up on the e-mail and tickets received during the holiday within 5 business days after the holiday.

    Hong Kong Post's Holiday Schedule:
