I still haven't figured this out. I always choose the default option that is automatically checked and says: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. From there fasttech has sent it Singapore Post four times, and my most recent order went Hong Kong Post.

Shipping Method - shipping methods vs. estimated delivery time
Regular Air Mail - FREE (up to 30 business days in transit)
Registered Air Mail FREE (10 to 14 days in transit typical) - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Speedpost Global Express - unavailable for this shipping address
Singapore Post - temporarily unavailable
DHL Express - unavailable for this shipping address

I don't see how I could select anything else.

Only problem is my juice I ordered on the 7th shipped on the 10th sing post by default, and other than one site my tracking hasn't even been accepted. Put in a ticket yesterday voicing my concern, but why choose Singapore by default if days later they are no longer available... And why not send out an email... Hey bob your crap may be there a little longer than expected before it even gets scanned into Singapore post, just a heads up.

The only lithium batteries I have ever actually heard of being a legitimate problem in Flight were those used to Power the actual aircraft. Originally installed to reduce weight.

Guess no one thought about the fact as they heat up they swell. As pressure drops(altitude), they swell. If they are allowed to swell to much........well, grab a fire extinguisher.

Good point. Here is a container that has the requisite approvals.
HM-224B Boeing 787 Super Boxes from Labelmaster

Lol.

I found the IATA regulations. From what I can see (I'm not going to spend hours studying this thing), a typical 18650 or even several of them are not regulated as hazardous. The cutoff is 20 watt hours a piece. A typical 18650 is only around 8 to 12 watt hours. Hopefully somebody in Hong Kong reads this forum lol. The batteries can fly.

Ugh, I looked at it again and I'm already sort of wrong. They're not consdered hazardous but Section II applies. The batteries can still fly but have to be packaged as specified (no big deal but it's more than just throwing them in an envelope).

That's just what I need for a 5$ pair of batteries!

I live in St. Paul. and this is what I see. (btw, I would never personally use DHL for that price lol!)

I'm in Plymouth. This is what I see:

FT-ship.jpg

I never see DHL trucks in western Hennepin County. I have no alternative shipping options from FastTech.

I have a couple of the 450's, great IMHO, for a little guy.

Vape On
:vapor:

I really liked mine. That unregulated hit FOC was great for the first hour or so which is how I used it. When I was only heading out the door for an hour or two. Unfortunately, I lost mine out mushroom picking yesterday, with a brand new T-2 on top. Now with the FT hassles with batteries, I may have to depend on my even smaller and unfortunately regulated 350 mah for a while. If things clear up with FT shipping, I'll be getting a couple more of these for quick trips.

Does not matter what you see, DHL delivers to the entire US. They May hand off for final destination, but this is becoming common practice for many carriers.

Anyone come across any good Mesh compatible RBA's yet (on fastech)? Not Genisis style but more like Phoenix style. -----
Every RBA out lately is either 2 or three post with no space in between for mesh or the only place to connect the wires are even in height, kinda need holes or screws to be at different levels to use mesh....and a deep (not shallow) well.
I was strictly mesh for about 8 months or so and decided to try out some of the new RBA's.. while they work great, silica just isn't my thing, the taste and for some reason makes me congested a bit.
Not lookin to do any of the 20$+ RBA's either....

I don't know about mesh but give cotton balls a try you'll be pleasantly surprised

That's the problem with FastTech they put the batteries in an envelop wrapped in foil (stupid) like that's going to fly. The packages got stopped at HK post screening and backed everything up. I ordered 18650s in Aug and never got them all they keep telling me is "they are on the way" for a month, a total lie from CS. Got my money back from PayPal and moved on.

After waiting for a month for my last delivery, i was pretty pleased when Fast Tech recalled my order and re-dispatched it (i actually got it 4 days after they let me know they had re-dispatched). As FT said that parcels being dispatched now were getting straight through customs i ordered myself a pack of 50 of the pre-wrapped coils and a trident RBA about 5 days ago.

Alas, the tracking number is again useless with no information available. I hope that it's not another month to wait as i need the coils ASAP (i cant wrap my own to save my life and my KFL and aga are sat idle at the moment whilst i make do with a protank 2!)

The batteries I purchased from FT in August were boxed in pairs in good, sturdy plastic cases and then thoroughly bubble-wrapped. The ones I got from a local vendor here were just put in a bubble envelope. Guess whose packaging I trust????

On a happier note, my last package from late September has arrived (15 days, which is totally normal for here - my post office might even have made an effort...:). It's a stainless steel Chi You and it is a beauty...sturdy, beautifully made and a real little charmer. In 18350 mode it is the same size as my little Bagua, to which it is very similar, and in 18650 mode, it is still very manageable for a little old lady.

OK, I really didn't need it, but given as to how nice it is to use and how well it works, and how pretty-shiny it is as well, it's definitely going to be used. A lot. :vapor:

I actually managed the feat of 15 days without ordering anything vape-related from anywhere...until my colleagues needed more eliquid and I just so felt I had to had to had to order some (plus some more heads and little stuff)...yeah, right...I was just looking for an excuse... now I REALLY don't need anything until, uh, November???

Anyone that thinks Fasttech caused the Customs Backup is a total :censored:
There are literally thousands of small companies shipping the same type items in the same fashion over there. Not to mention thousands more violating other categories.

I'm confused. Are you saying that FastTech will allow me to use DHL? Or, are you making a point unrelated to whether I have any alternate choices when it comes to checking-out my shopping cart.

This discussion started when I stated that FastTech chooses the pipeline to send the product. Clearly, for my address, that statement has been supported with the screen pics.

If I needed something ASAP, China would be the last place I would order from. Best of luck with your order. I hope it gets here fast.

According to the screen shot I viewed, DHL was an option, along with the typical(Air Mail, etc.) If DHL is listed and tick-able, yes you can choose and they will arrange delivery. Though pricing is ridiculous.

Well it looks like HK is screening things as it goes through or it took a few days for the product to actually get to HK after the electronic info was recvd.. My order of a nemy clone and X6. To add... FT showed 10/10 as shipped..

My batteries from FT were wrapped in the cases like yours. I will add to the state side vendor.. the batteries were like yours. I also order 2 plastic cases. i figured they would put the batteries in the case then wrap. Nope. the cases were placed in without the batteries inside.

Takes 2-3 days for HK to enter anything into the system. Seems to be a standing back log, for as long as I can remember. My 10-10 Shipped order is in acceptance, but has not progressed.
My 10-12 split shipped but is not even listed yet.
Not worried as this seems to be the routine way they handle processing at HK.

Very true. Ugly as heck but the capacity is there.

I've grown to dislike the evods now that i've experienced something better. Look good, but they're small, to tight of a draw for me and they like to leave a ring of fluid around the base everytime I filled them up.

Annnnd I just noticed the 5 day ship date. All I know is I have to find something that uses evod heads cause I have a couple handfuls that aren't getting used.

Hey mate.. which do you like better? I am trying to diversify on my delivery devices:) I would much rather try something and not like it in the 2-3 dollar range than 20 bucks.
