Same not worried. Just an observation.

Most of the time once I got the Acceptance the next was shipped. It has been 2 months from my last order with FT. I order once a month vape supplies. Last month was for some AW batteries (350s) and some other things. I went over my budget this month. Oh well... budgets are made to be broken...

I'm in Plymouth. This is what I see:

I never see DHL trucks in western Hennepin County. I have no alternative shipping options from fasttech.

I thought I read somewhere on FT that the shipping options depend on what's in your cart? Perhaps if you don't have batteries (or maybe juice also) you don't get the other shipping options?

Those measurements don't match up with the ones mad vapes sells but that isn't to say they won't work.

510/901 Drip Tip Replacement O-Ring

I was going to look into this also since my octopus doesn't seem to like the rings on most tips.

Per FT's 10/5 update

You can expect the tracking status updating or a return and refund notification email sent to you within next week. But please kindly be aware that tracking status updating doesn't mean that the package will make the delivery for certain. This is only to speed up the package processing, they will still need to pass through the X-ray scanning.

it's been well over a week now, and still nothing.

True, the measurements are off.. And I used my calipers and the o-rings I replace my connection rings with and pulled one off 2 different drip tips and used those measurements, compared to the replacement o-rings I have. They should work.

That's an interesting thought. No batteries or e-Liquid in the cart. I've placed five orders with FastTech. My choices have been Free Registered Air Mail, or what I assume is Unregistered Air Mail. I don't see that as a choice at all. Who would choose an option that would potentially take 30 days in transit time and couldn't be tracked, when a faster option is available for free that offers tracking?

I found the IATA regulations. From what I can see (I'm not going to spend hours studying this thing), a typical 18650 or even several of them are not regulated as hazardous. The cutoff is 20 watt hours a piece. A typical 18650 is only around 8 to 12 watt hours. Hopefully somebody in Hong Kong reads this forum lol. The batteries can fly.

Ugh, I looked at it again and I'm already sort of wrong. They're not consdered hazardous but Section II applies. The batteries can still fly but have to be packaged as specified (no big deal but it's more than just throwing them in an envelope).

That's what I posted about someone claiming shenanigans with FT's battery shipping. The plastic boxes are all that is required of FT. The shenanigans are by HKP making up their own rules. You can't follow rules that you can't read because someone is making them up as they go along.

That's the problem with FastTech they put the batteries in an envelop wrapped in foil (stupid) like that's going to fly. The packages got stopped at HK post screening and backed everything up. I ordered 18650s in Aug and never got them all they keep telling me is "they are on the way" for a month, a total lie from CS. Got my money back from PayPal and moved on.

Wrong assumption by you.
They put batteries in a plastic battery box, wrapped in bubble wrap, wrapped in foil. Maybe the foil was to circumvent screening (like that would work) or maybe it was an additional layer of packaging trying to comply with the rules someone made up. But there has not been any problem with FT's shipping method other than they could mark the outside of the package that it contains lithium batteries (which wouldn't have worked out very well with the made up rules HKP came up with, then all of the batteries would've gone back).

I ordered a 50 cent hdmi cable... mini/normal for my cell. It was on Amazon from some chinese supplier. I used the free shipping instead of the 2 dollar upgrade to 15 days. I got it 45 days later. I had forgotten I ordered it all. It still works.

I hear you! Over the last 10 or 15 years I've ordered stuff from all over the world - from Amazon, Ebay, the Book Depository, quilting sites, coffee sites...all over. I never even bothered to track, hunt down or even wonder about where my parcels were. I knew if they went fedex or Dhl, they would get stopped by my Customs and seriously taxed, so I avoided those methods like the plague.

My last order just arrived from FT, in 15 days, which is good-to-excellent in comparison with other things I've got from other places. I am seriously wondering if all these discussions and postings and trackings aren't influencing me in the direction of "unreasonable expectations".

I'm not criticizing anyone, but I wonder if we aren't sort of in a group-fuelled "tracking frenzy"? I'm thinking seriously of backing away for a while and trying to get some work done instead of haunting the various vaping sites I've got somewhat addicted to...

Hmmm...

If you were offered 14 day transit time with tracking for FREE on that Amazon order, would you have declined that offer? FastTech has FREE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED listed when you check-out. Does anyone choose a different option? Really seems like a no-brainer to me.

Oh, goody! My two igo-L drippers are out for delivery!!

(So I'll be haunting the forum tonight for tips/hints on how to drip effectively. I've never done it. :) )

The dripping part is easy in an RDA. Dump a bunch in (I use about half an eye dropper) and vape away. You can flood one but it takes a lot.
Building coils isn't even that hard as long as it's a single coil.

I never tried the stock coils in my IGO-L but knowing my preference in duals, I'd change them. And knowing how my IGO-L works, I'd leave it as a single coil (besides the part where it only has one hole in the cap and you really should have two holes for a dual coil).
