Read all about what fasttech is pulling on me: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/480265-another-new-member.html

Long story short, I ordered a Vamo V3 5 in 1 kit, they processed and send a confirmation email, I went back to check on my order and they pulled the ol' switch-a-roo on me. Anyone else ever have this happen or know why it would?

If what you are getting isn't what you want, cancel your order, take a store credit, and order what you want. Do it before it ships.

Edit: And you said in the other post you started that you read up on FT. If you did, you will know that loose cell batteries have a good chance of not making it through shipping.

I did up on them in general. I honestly didn't look up anything about them shipping batteries as it never crossed my mind. I am in Japan mind you and I know there was a ban on shipping certain batts for a bit but its since been lifted to my knowledge. In any event, they kept the SKU but changed what it was completely on their site. seems weird to me. Now I'm not saying they did it just to screw little ol' me or anything like that. I did put a ticket in and the estimated ship date isn't until the 18th so if I don't hear anything back in 24 hours I'll cancel and order a different kit I guess.

My batteries from FT were wrapped in the cases like yours. I will add to the state side vendor.. the batteries were like yours. I also order 2 plastic cases. i figured they would put the batteries in the case then wrap. Nope. the cases were placed in without the batteries inside.

And the battery cases make great no mess totes for prefilled clearos for the active vaper on the go.

They sometimes change products and descriptions based on supply issues or stock, sometimes they change them when they catch a mistake. Be patient, they will take care of it best they can or give your money back. I've never heard of them ripping off a single person, but they are prone to mistakes sometimes. Be fair and remember they are different country, different timezone, different language, moving a LOT of product every day and thousands of miles away.

If you were offered 14 day transit time with tracking for FREE on that Amazon order, would you have declined that offer? FastTech has FREE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED listed when you check-out. Does anyone choose a different option? Really seems like a no-brainer to me.

My response was to this part. I did. It was free vs paid.

"Who would choose an option that would potentially take 30 days in transit time and couldn't be tracked?"

You are correct it is a no-brainer. Doesn't change the fact though or you can pay 40 bucks for DHL. Personally i am of the mind, I can't get mad at anything free. It is like getting a free soda then complaining it is diet coke instead of regular coke.

I hear you! Over the last 10 or 15 years I've ordered stuff from all over the world - from Amazon, Ebay, the Book Depository, quilting sites, coffee sites...all over. I never even bothered to track, hunt down or even wonder about where my parcels were. I knew if they went fedex or Dhl, they would get stopped by my Customs and seriously taxed, so I avoided those methods like the plague.

My last order just arrived from FT, in 15 days, which is good-to-excellent in comparison with other things I've got from other places. I am seriously wondering if all these discussions and postings and trackings aren't influencing me in the direction of "unreasonable expectations".

I'm not criticizing anyone, but I wonder if we aren't sort of in a group-fuelled "tracking frenzy"? I'm thinking seriously of backing away for a while and trying to get some work done instead of haunting the various vaping sites I've got somewhat addicted to...

Hmmm...

FedEx DHL 24 hours news 24 hour ESPN.... I am personally laid back.... well cept when I needed a smoke and had no cigs. Now I have 500 ml of nic base and 20 bottles of flavorings. I just made this very delicious batch, I never write down whats in them.. It is basically 12 different tobacco flavorings, EM, Sulcrose, Vanilla and Apple Cider.... Dropped in some hot water for the night and opened it a week later. I am in heaven on it... First time since a year ago with Gandolf from HHV, I really like a liquid. 2nd batch of Gandolf I got was wretched. It is why I DIY now.

I am looking forward to my nemy clone and spare X6.. but my expectations on shipping time isn't like others. Like you it will get here when it gets here. I am more worried about when my direct tv will be fixed after the repairs on my roof.

After waiting for a month for my last delivery, i was pretty pleased when Fast Tech recalled my order and re-dispatched it (i actually got it 4 days after they let me know they had re-dispatched). As FT said that parcels being dispatched now were getting straight through customs i ordered myself a pack of 50 of the pre-wrapped coils and a trident RBA about 5 days ago.

Alas, the tracking number is again useless with no information available. I hope that it's not another month to wait as i need the coils ASAP (i cant wrap my own to save my life and my KFL and aga are sat idle at the moment whilst i make do with a protank 2!)

I use stealthvape.co.uk for ready coils, that should be much faster than FT and not much more expensive :) you could also try greyhaze.co.uk

Regarding the shipping "snafu" i had a problem with another chinese vendor, no batteries or liquid, just a nemesis clone. It sat in the Singapore Post office since 9/26 and the store issued a new tracking number today. When i asked they said SP sent my order back yesterday without saying what the problem was. In the case of SP it seems that a mix of the holidays with some pretty particular employees caused this whole mess :/

Received my 9/6 order today. :) It was still intact but the envolope was beat up more than normal and had some of the same markings on it that Barbies had.. All it contained was 100ml of various juice, a charger and t3s.

Hangsen Marb mix mint is good, so far I like it more than the Hangsen Dunhill Menthol and Tab Mint.

I might be the only one that doesn't like J. Peach.

I never thought i'd ever say this, but Hangsen has won me over.

Fastest shipping from fasttech I've ever seen. Private v2 was shipped last Tuesday and would've come yesterday if not for the holiday. It took some fiddling to get my trident clone on it but it's performing great. If anyone else orders one be sure to clean it out well beforehand. This thing was dirty and the brass on the bottom button looks dirty. Worth the $20 easily.

Try the peach in a few weeks before you make up your mind.

I also like Hangsen, not all, but then I have personal tastes, can't beat it for the price though.
