I use my wall wart micro usb charger for my cell phone. Charges in about 2 hours.

I took an old, powered USB hub with seven USB ports, plugged it into the wall and set it on my night stand. With that, I can power my MVP2, my wife's Kindle, my phone, my daughter's tablet and an ego all at the same time using only one wall outlet.

My experiment with 18650s have vanished into HK post for 16 days now, I will be trying Swiss Post if they get returned to FT, but I am not sure if anyone has reported back on Swiss Post for batteries yet.

My battery order via Swiss Post started its journey on the 2nd, still waiting for new updates on the Swiss Post tracking site. As of now the only update i got its the departure of the package from HK.

It seems that kayfun orders from the 18th are getting shipped today. I hope to get mine shipped on thursday :p

Nice setup. No problem when you need to charge.

Question for anyone here that uses FTs iclear16s...FT sells the coil heads in 1.5, 1.8 2.0 etc. The iClears from FT have the 2.0 ohm coil heads. however in reading my understanding was-with ego batteries that the 1.5 would work better. I feel like it burns pretty hot and am curious what ohms others are purchasing for replacement coil heads for their iClears?

Odd, I heard the opposite - that you should use heads with higher resistance with the ego batteries. This isn't a slur against egos - I love mine and use them 99% of the time - but they're basically inexpensive batteries that can't really stand up to the load lower-ohm heads put on them.

Still say I am going to build a multi position DIY USB power station with an old ATX powersupply...have you seen the amount of pure regulated 5vdc even the most anemic 100w ATX powersupply can supply (now can the cable handle that...probably not)!

Or do what this guy did!

Yes, absolutely. Easy-peasy.

And of course, the MVP charges other devices using any compatible USB charging cable.

Thanks. The many other power options the cable offers is exactly why I asked. I worry that I'll lose the provided cable. I wanted to stash it away and use one of the many Micro USB cables I have laying around the house.

I like to use this wall charger

Amazon.com: RAVPower® RP-UC05 Dual USB Travel Wall Charger (15.5W/ 3.1A, Swivel Plug), for Kindle Fire HD, Apple iPad iPhone, Android Smartphones Tablets, and RAVPower External Battery Packs: Kindle Store

I can use the Micro USB cable that came with my Kindle.

I have to post a uick update (After complaining about last order taking 30 days then returned to FT)-2 of my recent orders went from "acceptance" in HK to being at local post office in less than 7 days!!! Im excited!

eGo batts you want to use 1.8Ω to 2.4Ω heads, due to the fact you get whatever the voltage the battery is pushing, starts at 4.2vdc then gradually degrades to shutoff volts at around 3.2-3.3vdc, using the power chart you can see that the best "range" is the above 1.8Ω to 2.4Ω...too low and it pulls too much from battery, too high and the vape is very weak...

Do you happen to have a link to that chart? I've bookmarked a couple of them, but like they one you provided better.

Nice! This one doesn't come with "some assembly required".

Satechi 12 Port USB Hub with Power Adapter & 2 Control Switches

**EDIT**
Nevermind. That one does not appear to be externally powered. I didn't see that the end of that was USB and not a wall socket.

I pulled this off 17track ('destination' tab) for a juice order that started its journey the same day

Does this make sense to anyone? Or is it just me lol

Still only able to push 2A from the wall wart...you need to be able to have something that can provide MORE current (a minimum of 5A [.500mA x 10]) but when you start pushing heavy current like that, the device (and traces) might not be able to handle it
