Does the vamo v3 have the ego threads? My 2 vamo v2 don't.

I don't know what you're trying to screw on but the V2 does have eGo threads. I've got an eGo threaded adapter on mine so I don't screw it down to tight and pop the seal. I've put eGo-C tops on it an eGo cone on it.
Are you thinking of some different kind of threading maybe? What are you trying to use?

Why are all these threads being shut down? Will y'all pls behave so I can read the reviews by members. I like fasttech for some things and I get some elsewhere. I have had bad products come from vendors in the states too. Get used to it one thing I have learned is this isn't a perfect world and it's getting worse by the day.

My guess is they get too big and hard to keep track of, but I've only been part of one other that was shut down. I didn't see anything worth shutting it down other than it growing too large. Or it could be they don't want a bunch of FT threads going at the same time.

They thread on fine, they just dont register.

You didn't happen to screw it on tight did you?
If you did you probably broke the seal and caused it to short out.

Look in the Vamo forum for a way to fix it, and a way to avoid it, which I mentioned above with the adapter to limit how far you can screw in.

I got my first order in today, nine days from ordered to mailbox. That's completely acceptable. Got a variety of things but the only thing I have tried are the EVODs which are now soaking in the alcohol as they tasted like machine oil. They are obvious knock-offs just from the feel of the material. Considering you can get the real deal for not much more I think it'll be the last I get from them. As long as they work I'll be satisfied for the price paid, wasn't expecting the real deal. Also got some replacement heads.

Got a knock off EGO battery for the wife and it feels good but haven't tried it yet.

Overall satisfied so far for the price paid but I'm starting to reconsider if the savings is worth it. That said, I am fighting hard spending $45 on an MVP. Fantastic price for something I totally want but don't need.

Thanks for the heads up,ill bet the stuff Fast tech sells are factory rejects and low quality,i think ill be using caution.

No, they are not rejects. They are Chinese knockoffs, not rejects. At least with the EVODs I can say are a different material all together. The taste I'm sure is due to the ripoffs not going through a final rinse after manufacturing like the real deal does. As it happens time and again, you get what you pay for.

Ah, and your basis for this sweeping generalization would be...? But then, I love betting when I know I'll win...

From the massive feedback here on the last 3 or 4 Fast Tech threads, the products are not "low quality factory rejects." Some may be "generic", others are perfectly genuine, first class stuff. Some are well made, others aren't. FT has an excellent guarantee that many members here have been very happy with. Others, not so much. Some people are used to waiting for packages in the mail, others aren't.

I personally am super-happy with my genuine iTaste VV. It set me back all of $40, the price of 2 generic ego-type batteries here, and it works a treat.

Conclusion? My mileage is different from your mileage.

Guys, I would like you all to think about something for a sec.

Go down to the supplier section, and look at all the vendors that PAY to have a presence here on ecf. If it was not for them this forum wouldn't exist. Do you think they might have a legitimate complaint when FastTech is getting all these threads in the general forum, when they (registered suppliers) aren't even allowed to post on the general forum?

Maybe it's time for FastTeck to anti up like the rest of the vendors if they want a presence on ecf.

Your point is valid, but this thread wasn't started by FT and we have no knowledge of FT wanting to be part of ECF. We're just a bunch of folks talking about our orders from them. I'm not aware of a rule that says we can't talk about them. Until there is one then it's all good. Right? I talk about other vendors I like such as (shameless plug here) Good Prophets. lol ;)

There is nothing wrong with shopping at fasttech. I use many different vendors as they suit my needs. Sometimes I'll buy from one place because of a cheaper price, sometimes I might pay a bit more somewhere because I know shipping will be a bit cheaper. I also have vendors I am loyal to because the people that work there are amazing and helpful.

No one here is telling anyone to buy exclusively from fasttech. And I'm sure like myself, most people here will continue to buy locally, as well as buy from fasttech.

edit: ha just noticed I'm post 690 on page 69 hehe

That's true. We do pick and choose. Perfect example...I bought an eroll kit from Good Prophets when I could have saved a few bucks buying it from FT. He's been good to me with freebies now and then, super fast shipping and he ordered a leather case I wanted for it. If something goes wrong it gave me peace of mind knowing it would be easier to mail back to him then to China.

I'm seriously going trigger crazy tonight. I had 45 things in my cart. Just dumped half out and now I'm saying "do i really need this stuff"? Stalking the new items, cruising the old. I'm broke until the end of the month too! I got it bad! Curse you FT!! ;(

6 days? That has to be a record! 7 was my fastest. Glad you're happy with the goods.

Oops actually I ordered on the 11th. It was shipped on the 14th. Still good.

The vivi nova v4 looks good. I'm all about bcc now but I was intreagued it was ego threaded. Good for my mvp.

I agree, there isn't anything wrong with buying from FT. My point was about the number of threads lately devoted to just one vendor that isn't even a registered supplier on ecf. I guess we could all start posting on Face Book after all the registered vendors get mad and pull their accounts, and ecf has to close down because of no funds collected from vendors.

Personally, my common answer when asked to suggest a vendor, is see the list of trusted venders is the supplier section. They answer to a code of ethics, and support the forum.
FT contributes nothing, yet seems to be getting most of the ink lately.
