Thanks lu.......if the latest atomizer cleaning method works I will almost have vaping perfection.... now I wish I could think of a cart that doesn't need topping up for at least a day.

Although I have to say the sidewinder seems to be the best design mod for carrying around all day and I wouldn't mind making an e-cig similar to that.

I have to admit I can't see myself vaping it in public....lol
:D My buddy made me a magnum - I asked my hubby do I look like a Crack-W$)RE with this thing... he said YES MAM! LOL so I won't be going very far out the house with it either.... but for long car trips and stuff it will be awesome! (we live in the middle of nowhere - going grocery shopping is a long car trip!)

Lol wildsky.....I guess that's why the ones that look very similar to a cigarette or pipe will always be popular. They won't get the wrong kind of attention.

Well done Pete - nice work !

On a general note, I was thinking how nice it would be if someone offered a 'mod kit' (not a complete kit) that would, at the least, include a socket for the atomiser (901, perhaps also 801) with two longish wires already soldered onto it. With that, most people could make their own mod much more easily, without needing to do any soldering :) Ideally, some enterprising person could get this part (the orignal) direct from China.

I've read somewhere that a coaxial connector size M or N is a match for a 901 atomizer. Havent tried it but read it here somewhere.

Size M or N Reverse polarity female coaxial.

Aparently there 'are' some off the shelf power connectors that can be used for the atomizer connections......but I made that as a simple plug in with a spring loaded pin to make a straight connection to the centre of the atomizer.

I heard that too and also not tried it, but I believe it needs some fiddling and also some soldering. With a connector with wires attached, and a perhaps a battery box with wires attached and a switch (Maplin RS etc)*, everyone can make their own mod by twisting wires together with some insulation tape. Not ideal, but it would work. Even a hardcore modder would prefer the real connector and may have run out of dead batteries to scavenge from.

* not necessary if mod case includes batteries or is rechargeable.
