Don't let imeo know you have the greatest mod! We all let him think he has it. Kidding, kidding...

Good job. Do you have a Sonicare laying around?

hey mj.......it's funny you should say that lol.......I did try to mod an old sonicare toothbrush, I liked the idea of just standing it in the charger overnight with no plugging in but although it was the right voltage it didn't give enough power .....I guess there was too much internal resistance.

One of the first ideas I had(by no means the only one), that I think would be great is an e-gig you set in an ashtray-looking thing when youre not puffing that would charge it inductively, like the sonicare. I'd build one, but that kind of technology is beyond me.

I hearby propose a challenge to all modders...!

That's similar to what I was thinking when I was looking at my sonicare......I could have had the charger sitting on my desk and it would have made a great place to put my sonicare e-cig down......I was really disappointed when it didn't seem to put out enough currant to heat the atomizer.

Pete - it could well be that the battery is old. If you can replace it, the whole thing should work fine.

It was pretty old .....I wonder if that would work ..I am not sure if it would be very easy to get hold of a matching battery pack they aren't really designed for the user to ever change....but I guess if I could get the same size rechargeables it would be simple enough to copy how the pack is made ..they are only taped up and connected together.

BTW, Tesco has a 3.7v rechargeable screwdriver for only £3.70 ('value brand'), but in red. There's a 2.4v also, so be careful which one you get. Might be worth it just for the substantial battery pack.

Wow Kinabaloo....I just looked that screwdriver up online...it would be perfect for a mod...I doubt if it even costs any more than you would pay for the batteries anyway.......what a cheap e-cig that would make.

Yesterday I saw a penguin movie, very touchy and I remember Pete. The only picture it came in my mind was the penguin smoking the Pete's constraction xa xa. Do it by decking material Pete. :D
