Well that one's different, it's like "double high" - but half of it is threading "up" ONTO the tank, while all these others just rest on the Vari UNDER the tank...

How is the quality of the $8 pro ring from Provape? I was thinking of buying one since it's so cheap but I'm not sure how nice it is.

Quality is excellent - it's from ProVape, after all.
It is, as you can see, a different kind of look. More "function" and less "elegant" than a Kir Fanis. Again - exactly what you'd expect from those two brands! It's not shiny - it's a brushed finish - I'd love to see them available polished, and would love to see them color-matched to the ProVari colors too!

Ah, I see the one on Provape has a $12 extension ring.

Then end cap doesn't care what battery you use! It's JUST a bottom peice...it might LOOK like it includes an extension if you see a picture because they thread together so smoothly...

You can put it on a mini (18350) or on a standard (18490) or on either one with an extension ring from Tatroe (for 18490/18650) or on a mini with TWO extension rings for a mini-18650!

When it does it will be the new version - even better than my SnP 23mm that I really love, with thicker glass, larger fill ports, etc.

When is this expected to come out and how likely is it to remain in stock for awhile? It's a shame the other one is discontinued now(?) because it looked so nice with a Provari. I can't tell much by the picture, but I suppose that one looks the same. Maybe just small improvements?

It's been coming for a long time, but afaik when is still unkown. I know my GP supplier of choice doesn't know yet (and he's in regular contact with Perseas). Why would it not look just as good on a ProVari with a tank ProBase installed on it instead of the standard tank base like my 23mm V1 has? IMO the improvements are not "small".

Provape ring is all i need. ON the kayfun lite plus the little air channel groves are just barely visible and adds a note of flare that is missing from the covered up tear drops.

IT works for me and works nicely. There isn't really a step per se since its 1mm difference.

With a 22mm tank its going to look like a plain ring, which is fine, its only $8 versus some of the other plain looking rings costing more.

Also, my pro ring solved any and all pt2 airflow issues I was having. Can't say the same will work for everyone, but in my personal case it allowed me to run my pt2 without the aerotank base or a modified protank head, screwed on securely.

It's very well made. I really like the air flow channels on top. My biggest complaint, is having to adjust the center pin of the topper when using it, because it sits on top of the ProVape tapered nose cone. Other than that, it's well worth the money.
