I hated smoking, but I didn't want to quit. It was something I couldn't explain. After every. single. cigarette. I felt like crap. But I couldn't stop. It was a ritual. I would wake up, smoke. Eat breakfast, smoke. Go to the bathroom, smoke. Do the laundry, smoke. Eat lunch, smoke. Make lunch, smoke. Eat lunch, smoke. Watch a TV show, smoke. etc, etc, etc, etc........ I was smoking a pack or pack and a half a day. And after every smoke, I felt like .....
I've only been completely analog-free for a few days, but I've been noticing quite a few differences. The biggest is I don't feel bad after each one. That's a plus, right? I've also been noticing that my rituals have drastically changed. This morning I made it all the way to lunch time without vaping (or smoking), which is a HUGE deal. And throughout the day I'll randomely puff on my e-cig, but I don't continuously drag on it for 3-5 minutes like I did with a cigarette. I also don't feel the need to do the whole ritual thing. I don't need to do any before-or-after cigarettes (or vaping). I seem to chain vape the most at night after the kids have gone to bed. Like to the point of needing at least two fully charged batteries and a refill or two.
There's no point to this post. I was just making some weird observations between my smoking habits and my vaping habits.
What sucks is I think I'm going to have to steal my husbands laptop. I feel a stronger urge to vape while on the computer, but I've made the choice not to vape inside. It's a good thing he goes to bed a lot earlier than I do
