I hated smoking, but I didn't want to quit. It was something I couldn't explain. After every. single. cigarette. I felt like crap. But I couldn't stop. It was a ritual. I would wake up, smoke. Eat breakfast, smoke. Go to the bathroom, smoke. Do the laundry, smoke. Eat lunch, smoke. Make lunch, smoke. Eat lunch, smoke. Watch a TV show, smoke. etc, etc, etc, etc........ I was smoking a pack or pack and a half a day. And after every smoke, I felt like .....

I've only been completely analog-free for a few days, but I've been noticing quite a few differences. The biggest is I don't feel bad after each one. That's a plus, right? I've also been noticing that my rituals have drastically changed. This morning I made it all the way to lunch time without vaping (or smoking), which is a HUGE deal. And throughout the day I'll randomely puff on my e-cig, but I don't continuously drag on it for 3-5 minutes like I did with a cigarette. I also don't feel the need to do the whole ritual thing. I don't need to do any before-or-after cigarettes (or vaping). I seem to chain vape the most at night after the kids have gone to bed. Like to the point of needing at least two fully charged batteries and a refill or two.

There's no point to this post. I was just making some weird observations between my smoking habits and my vaping habits.

What sucks is I think I'm going to have to steal my husbands laptop. I feel a stronger urge to vape while on the computer, but I've made the choice not to vape inside. It's a good thing he goes to bed a lot earlier than I do:thumb:

I also vape way more than I smoked. Was smoking about 40 / day and nope pretty much chain vape, except when I am in the office, when I stealth every so often. I do not get the same cravings if any at all vaping like I did with smoking. My lungs feel so much better and I can walk upstairs without being out of breath. All good if you ask me :)

Trust me .. Your vaping days are just beginning. :D I've been vaping for about a month now, and couldn't be happier.

The most exviting thing for me is trying out new flavors. You can't do that with analog cigarettes! And you can vape all day without spending a dime. :3

I've saved a whole lot of money, and feel so much better, too! Congrats!

Please tell me how I can vape without spending at least a dime a day? According to my calculations, vaping will cost me approx. half the amount cigarettes cost me. It's still a major improvement, but still a lot more than a dime, lol :smokie:

I don't know about a dime a day, that would be quite amazing for me.

I used to smoke a lot and I vape just as much, if not more. It costs me about $1.50 a day in juice and cartomizers, but that's still a tenth the cost compared to what I'd be paying for cigs at the corner store.

I think the biggest savings can be found in juice. You can usually mix your own for much less than it costs off-the-shelf. I think there's a whole forum section here dedicated to mixing your own. I don't visit it much, but I'll have to drop by there sometime.

The next way to save money is in your cartomizers or atomizers. A good inexpensive source for those can make a big difference.
