only claiming because it happens on both of my Vari's... the reason is amp protected (amp limiting) feature to prevent shorting or something... but different Vari's will go higher or lower before E2 warning/shut off.
The most recent event was when the Dual Coil carto's came out... 1.5/ 1.6... couldn't get beyond 3.8 or.9 ... and people were talking about HV with the DC...

I hear ya there are a couple posters worried or claiming the Pro Vari will not fire these LR atties but mine does.

What happened to er Pro Vari? What r u vaping on now?

i tested the 357 few days ago when i got them and it was 1.5 on the head.
for new people measuring ohms on a multiumeter i was told first thing you do is touch the red and black together and see what number you get. then take a reading on the atty and DEDUCT that number when you first touched the 2 leads together. the number you get after you deduct is the actual reading. anyway thats what i do. my inside ohm reading is .3 so when i measure the atty i get 1.8 so minus .3 is 1.5 ohms.
I know you experienced people know this. i am just posting this for new people that do noit know.
well i didnt know at one time lol
oh BTW i have been using 357 for 2 days and its very nice, and smooth and flavorfull. I also had the original Hybrids from COV and no where are they the same. Hanna's is the one.

Had? Did they die? Can you expand on your comparison? You're the second person to mention having both I've read but I've yet to find much in comparison points. Please do share, I have the Vapage pair now, one died.. the other is solid so far. What were the notable differences and between which models? -Magnus

mwa102464, You know not of what you speak! I have one of each, 510 Hybrid from COV and HH .357 from Avid. I have had the 510 Hybrid for 4 days now. What I can count on with these are, juice leaking from the battery connector, an inconsistent vape, and tons of frustration. I have used the 510 Hybrid 2.0 ohm with my eGo, Bombshell at 4.2 v, regulated 5v box mod, and my Pearl Pulse AV @ 3.5 v. I have used 80 PG/ 20 VG, 50/50, and 70 VG/ 30 PG e-liquids. And I have tried every possible combination of PV and juice. The end result have all been the same. I am thankful that my losses were only $9 and countless hours of trial and error.

I received my HH .357 this morning. The first thing I did was visually compare the two. There is a noticeable difference between the two coils and mesh that surrounds the cups. The next thing I did was read the clear cut instructions for Optimum Performance and Cleaning Procedure. The only information COV offered was the obvious specs and stated that "This is an advanced user device. Keep wet at all times". Exactly what constitutes an “advanced user”? With a little information, anyone can use this device. After I blew out the primer, oh I forgot to mention that all the .357 atty’s are hand modded and tested before sale. I placed the atty on my eGo battery and dropped 4 drops of my 80 PG/ 20 VG juice into the atty. Took one cold draw to pull the e-liquid through the wicking system, then I took my first sip. OMG, the flavor, TH, and vapor blew my mind. After a few more sips, all as satisfying as the first, I topped up. At this point I decided to clear my schedule for the day so I could give this baby a good hard test drive. It’s now been 6 hours of chain vaping and I can contest to the love of this atomizer. Was it worth $22? Absolutely!

IMO, you really can’t compare the two atomizers, it’s just not fair. It’s like comparing a BMW to a KIA. The original inventor, of this Cisco LR 306 modded into a 510 sleeve atty, realizes that some folks may have issues with their atty and that not everything is perfect and flawless. Hanna will personally, stand behind his product.

No, I am not being paid to say this and I have nothing to gain. I just want to share my experiences and opinions with other vapers.

I guess some folks must have missed my initial review of the HH .357 atty. I am now on day number 4 and and this atty is smoking like a fright train. I have only used it on my eGo battery so far. I figure if its not broke why fix it! LOL The first day I got my .357 I stayed up until 3 AM vaping. There were two reasons for this: 1) I was in such awe with this atty, I really didn't want to stop. 2) I had been chain vaping since 10 AM the previous day using 18ml juice and I couldn't sleep! LOL

I am looking forward to getting some of the open battery terminals because I have a wet box that I have put away since I got away from cartomizers.

I also want to add, the more is use this atomizer the more I love it. I really never thought I would find myself DD for 4 days straight! I haven't touched my SS CE2 or my eGo tank system.

I havent tried the .357 only the hybrid. the Cisco 306 has been my go-to atty for dripping for a while however and what I can tell you as far as how they are made is the .357 is made from the Cisco 306, which I'm sure most people know at this point but for those who dont, and it has a coil that wraps around the wick 10 times. The hybrid coil wraps around 3. I've heard but dont quote me, that Cisco uses a different material that allows his 306 to have more heating element while still keeping the 1.5Ω resistance.

I'm guessing if the 357 performs anything like the Cisco 306 or better, the vapor is going to be one of the biggest diferences?

I've been following this thread for a while... I am w/ Magnus on this one. I would love to hear comparisons, but as usual, I will end up trying them out for myself regardless. I vape mainly at 6V so that is the primary reason I have been hesitant, but I still have some 18650s laying around with which to use the 1.5s.

@ magnus , i got a hybrid from cov, and haveing isseus with gettin some good vape, is there a trick to it?

I really can't say. People are having a wide range of experiences with them so far. Some people right out of bag get solid performance, some say they had a days worth of break-in. Others had a day break-in, a day solid, and then it faded away even after cleaning.

So right now I think we're just facing growing pains w/ the Vapage hybrid. The bottom-feeder I had was defective. The standard I have is performing quite well, not the best atty I've used by any stretch but quite well. If this had the same reflow feature as the bottom-feeder I'd consider it a winner. I'll be buying the HH to give that a drive too. -Magnus

lol magnus.. i'm sorry but that made me laugh >.< just sucks because you've shown a lot of enthusiasm on these atomizers

I'm a sucker for a premium item at a premium price. The 'other' offering worked well for me but I can't resist the idea of even better. It's the how much better and how much longer I'm nervous about now. -Magnus

anyone disappointed in these? been messing with them for a while now and imo, the flavor isnt there..its almost like the flavor or juice is getting mixed with something else in the atty...i tend to get little bits of juice flying in my mouth once in a while too..and the vapor production is similar to other atties..and not in the spectacular level. im not sure if its "broken in"...but ive been using it for a bit now. i find myself starting off my vape.sessions with these...get disappointed and going back to my 306

gonna do a video review and probably.sell.the two that i got. want more.opinions on these atomizers from you guys

I could be wrong but I thought that I heard that each atty gets tested with either pg or vg so it would take a bit of time to get through that primer. If you have an unused one I will buy :)

ya it does..but i blew that all out and its just pg/vg anyway..shouldnt take long to get through that..i vaped it enough to get more than my share of accidental dry burns hits, which shouldve gotten all that primer. it more feels like its getting mixed with a material in the attie or somethin o_O

cool ill PM you if or when i do. i got two of these btw for anyone else

edit: nm ya theyre both used -.-
