The "I got bored at work" mod

I was requested to post my mod in this section once I reached the proper post count to do so, So here she is.

50A mil-spec waterproof momentary push button switch
510 connection
1/4" aluminum body
12GA wiring
Utilizes a single 18650 battery

Practically indestructible!

I will be improving this mod since there has been so much interest in it, and will post the progress here as I go

Here she is, opinions and criticism welcome!







Finished up a Custom Brass and stainless steel drip tip for it today to resemble a antenna (per request of a fellow member) and I have to say, I LOVE IT!

Battery goes in bottom, Insulated aluminum battery tray, But will need redesigned for durability

Tig welded and ground smooth the top cap for the prototype v2, looks much cleaner.

Love that switch, the only problem is the fact that is is only rated for 2 amps. wouldn't last long in this application.

They do have 15a anti vandal sw around, they are pricey.

Ya did no say no to throwing visus a bone so

That would be very nice, brass that is. Copper gets dingy too easily. Or maybe you could do parts in polished aluminum and others brushed...

This thing could potentially be a Steampunk fan's wet dream.

Tried my hand at etching for the first time tonight. Turned out ok, need's a little work.
Brand name will be "HellaVape"

That is an awesome looking mod.maybe you could find a display for battery voltage as you vape.there is also a little usb charging circuit you can get ,then dont need battery charger.if you have access to a milling machine maybe mill some z shaped slots for venting and loks on back side
