Depression is cureable. Or atleast manageable. I know it sounds horrible and I don't mean to offend you but maybe you should see a psychiatrist. Mine did me wonders! I'm on Cymbalta and it helps with both my depression and Fibro pain. It's just an idea.

I know what you mean. If it's not too personal, which AD? Not all work for everyone. Maybe talk to your Dr. and switch meds? Or just make time for something you like to do. If I'm feeling really down, i'll get out my LEGO sets or a model that I haven't completed. Just something simple to get your mind off the depression and occupied by something that takes concentration.

Posting will also help. Conversation is good medicine for a depressed mind.

I'm having trouble typing because my stress has got me shaking, but I think I can post here and there safely, so long as I make sure to take the time to examine before I click "post" hehe.

I know what you mean about stress making shaky hands. Try breathing though your nose, out your mouth and just relax. Or at least try.

Yep, rain will do it, we are having some rainy weather here in Indiana and my back, hip, knee and ankle are all acting up. I guess I'm lucky it's only on the left side. (could be both sides) Micki

When ever I'm feeling really down, I listen to my favorite band, 30footFALL. They're a local "punk rock" band (although Butch never considered himself a 'punk rocker') and I'm personal friends with Butch, the singer. He's a really good guy and has given me a lot of support through my struggles. In '05 he moved to Charolettesville, NC. and I, unfortunately, only get to see him at his Christmas shows and we get to hang out some while he's in town, randomly.

A specific song that I really fall back on to feel better is 'Feel Like Morrissey'

**I just thought if it could help me, it may help others.** I know it's not everyone's type of music, but it has a positive, uplifting energy.
