I decided to buy a range of gauges to play with I got 28,32 and 36 and also 400 and 500 wire.

Good call... A couple of things to think about. If you are going to Kick it, it will not matter what gauge wire you use. The Kick will decide what voltage to apply based on where you set the wattage. Also, you will find the 28 gauge a little harder to work with. I say try a bunch of stuff. If I were your coach, and it's iffy whether I qualify or not, I would encourage you to use Kanthal 32 for your first coil and 400 mesh for your first wick. That's your best chance at success. Then experiment and see how you like some of the other setups. YMMV

you are correct.. use this calculator.. Volts Watts Amps Converter Tool Calculator

as you can see.. with the watts being constant.. the higher the voltage.. the less amps used.. so less drain

my understand is the battery life is determined by amps?

volt / ohm = amp.

so if youre using 1 ohm coil with 10w of power, thats ~3.2v. youre draining 3.2amps. if youre using 2ohm, youll need ~4.5v for 10w of power. thats 2.25 amps.

2.25 is significantly less than 3.2amps. i think thats how you determine battery drain, def not sure though. i wanted to make a topic and ask but i saw this and figured why not post here

Yeah, I know. I was just trying to figure out how it was goony? Lol it was supposed to symbolize the end of the world. Does the goon squad try to blow up the world? When I read goon I thought of that scary thing in the goonies.

I like the grenade design, it would look awesome engraved somewhere, just wouldn't work at all as a tank cut out, the cut outs have to be really simple. The Illuminati cut out is about the max detail Face can get, and even that I noticed he had to round out even more than I had drawn it. That grenade could be cut out, take an xacto knife to a piece of paper.. it would work. >but< it would way too detailed for the tools Face has available.
Anyway.. I really appreciate that kind of input, I appreciate ideas in general, providing graphics like that helps a ton.

Afternoon all. Im also looking forward to getting the new switch. I too will never sell my fist iHy. Something about getting your first one. You hold a special place for it. Just like my first REO Grand. Had it for over 2 years now. Still hits like the day i bought it. Ill never get rid of it! even though it doesnt get much use these days. Just cant part with it.

Ill be back later. Need to rest a bit. Been a long day. Went out with my sis today doing some xmas shopping. That girl can shop! I know I said it would be a long time before I would do that again. Hello everyone...I woke up to a email from 310 today with the words LE IHYBRID and seeing that I have been stalking the classifieds for one I figured what the hell. All I know is ego and provari so here comes a whole new learning curve lol. I also picked up some 32 g kanthal along with some #500 mesh. Do you guys have any advice on what else would be beneficial to buy before my new toy gets here?

I was saying it looked impossible or at least very difficult for a tank sleeve because of the intricate design. I have no clue what a goon or a goon squad is honestly, no dog in that fight.
