As a temp fix the tube part of a 20mm syringe will work.

yup already did that Nancy, thank you. The mod itself is beautiful though. just have to look at it with the tank protector on til I get new glass or a stainless tank.

I rolled a 3", it worked good rolled between 2 boards until it fit. Works great.

I tried 3"x2" based on Blaine's video. Do you think I could get a 3" wide piece of mesh rolled tight enough to fit in that hole? Not on your life!
