First off NancyR Thankyou for putting together your reference links very helpful for noobs to hybrids/rba's like me; well done! Hopefully I'll get an iHybrid in the coming days. To the guys with the Illuminati SE's man those things are sharp looking.

Last note to the people talking about the color of the 12/21/12 SE's I can understand green as it is the color of Jade... not sure if that is where the color came from just where my thinking led me.

Fisty mentioned a while back that it is green because green/blue from the Mayan culture represented the transitions of life and death. Hence the choice color for the end of the world. :)

WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Home From the Ship to an Awaiting 9/11 LE Ihybrid, I now know what the fuss is all about :D I will however have to upgrade the switch on it when they are available and the Battery in 18650 mode rattles a bit inside the tube even when the switch cap is fully attached. Anyideas on how to fix this? I will be taking the 18650 down tomorrow to have it engraved. Once I get that one back I will get pics and Post them here and drop off the 18350 tube for the same engraving :D

Hope everyone is having a great day :D
Sincerely;
Nate

Hate to say this but it isn't me that has spent all those hours working in that it is LadyStrick9. She has put in a lot of work on those links to help all of us out:)

These guys have some too. $15 for a sq foot, and they offer 6"x6" too if you wanted to get a small piece to try..

That's more reasonable than $28 per sq foot I was seeing on Ebay.

Still catching up...this thread is crazy! Anyway, I'm sure it's been addressed already but could someone with knowledge of the matter talk about the venting that the iHybrid has for the battery tube? Can't see it on the renders on the site, not sure where it vents but I'm sure Faceless has a good vent setup going on somewhere! Thanks in advance!

The switch on the iHybrid is designed to vent through the switch mechanism when the switch is even slightly depressed. No worries.

It vent's around the button area. Faceless did test along time back in the tread. One of the frist things I wanted to know before buying, good Question! :toast:

I think the 2cent fuse would work well to stop the rattle and tighten it up. I have one ordered and will let you know in a few days.

Tell us about the switch on the illuminati, Gruss! Is it just a wider knurled locking ring? And obviously the top ring is knurled this time around as well but anything else you see?

Not sure yet. Still getting to know this thing.

Same as dragons No switch change on this one. Hellraisers I think

Don't have a Spider or a Dragon to compare. It has left hand threads on the lock ring. That's different than my Standard and GE.

It has Changed a little bit. At least from my Spider it has.

Definitely different form anything else I have.

Let me get this thing set up and I'll report back.

Very nice. Congrats :toast:

The switch has changed again. Tell us about it.

The switch works well. The throw is just right. Seems a tiny bit shorter than my Dragon. It's a very easy press too. It locks without spinning all the way off the threads and I can lock & unlock with the flick of a finger.
