So I had ordered the gun metal standard and I think I may have received the regular silver.

Does this look like the gun metal?

Well, yeah, I think...
Its actually clear anodizing, which takes on more of a gunmetal hue than the raw aluminum.
Hard to tell in the pic, but it sure "looks" different from the raw standards I've seen...
Looks like there's juice in there. What do ya think?

So, about the switch...

I know this is an iterative process, Face. I just don't see how you can improve on this. Verry short throw. Doesn't fire under it's own weight. Extremely smooth lock operation.

The "jig" worked! The engravings line up perfectly with the tank cutouts. I dunno if I could ask for anything more.

You reading this reviewers? JC? AG? V Ninja?

I'm still waiting on mine, lazy post-lady decided not to leave the package or the notice for the Illuminati while it was "out for delivery"...

Trust me, I wouldn't be hanging out here if I didn't already like my dragon. I love the switch on it, and I can't wait to see what's on the Ill. ;)

Virginia is for vapers
Not sure yet. Still getting to know this thing.

Don't have a Spider or a Dragon to compare. It has left hand threads on the lock ring. That's different than my Standard and GE.

Definitely different form anything else I have.

Let me get this thing set up and I'll report back.
Cool - Sounds like you got it ok then :)

Well, MY Illuminati is spending the night in the post office :grr: I drove like a mad woman to pick it up and he told me that my mail carrier was not in yet to come back at 8am.....ummm, yeah. I'll not go to work, so I can pick that up...right. So if isn't there when I get home from work tomorrow....I will throw the biggest fit they have ever seen.

Good news too. My original iHy had a bad switch. A friend sent one and .....whew...it's working just like it used to.

So, the Illumiinati was a b'day gift from Mrs. grruss. She wanted to "give it a try." LMAO! I had it set up with a 4/3 30ga coil. She took a "toot". She is used to a 3.0 ohm 510 atty set at about 4.3 volts. Well, the results were predictable. I won't have to worry about her stealing this one.
