Soooooo, the Illuminati is safely home, where she should be. Just one teensy weensy problem. The rings on the switch are stuck!!!!! Won't budge. Not at all. I guess I can put another switch on her to try, but .....bleh. It has not been a good APV week for me.

Two things, MissEmma:

1. Put a battery in it. Mine didn't move either, until I put a battery in it.

2. The lock has left hand threads. Not righty tighty, lefty loosey.

See if that helps!

Emma...I'm sure you realize but just in case...it is reverse threaded, Caravela style.

Of the three the iHy has now become my favorite vape.
I still don't take it out of the house much though .........

As you can see I like Cherry Vape Pawn drip tips and the RED one represents where the HR will sit in my next picture :D

Oh, Good to hear. I cannot wait...these APVs get high marks everywhere. Wish there were some better picks of the HR so I can drool in anticipation for it. I had to grab a standard today just to tide me over till it arrives and to get used to the ihybrids....:D

Soon after they ship there will be alot of photo's out here, usually around noon our time

Ok...the switch will depress, but I can't lock it because the rings are truly stuck...LOL. I am such a loser...LMAO

Your not a looser, i had taken my switch apart and put tape on the top side of the lock ring so it wouldnt get stuck again, i trimmed it out with an exacto knife and put it back together, now nothing will bite, as aluminum threads can do this easily

I just mentioned this in the RBA forum, does anyone else here use a "sacrificial short" or hotspot to get rid of a really stubborn short/hotspot (usually the top coil)? Basically if you use a metal object to adjust your coils, you can poke or rake another coil and your SS and create an instant hotspot, which then disappears and causes the stubborn hotspot to also disappear. It's a bit risky if you don't know what you're doing, but as a last-resort option, it works wonders...

Do this at your own risk...I live dangerously :evil:

I'm fairly certain I did that by accident last night with a metal cuticle pusher. /scratches head

How did you get your Army Vet title? I served for 7 years. :) Thanks again for the o-rings btw.

Ideally the fuse would be used on top. A. for bottom venting and B. for continued flawless operation of the wonderfully designed switch :)

Of course I have no intention of removing the top post, but depending on where it's "soldered" the top screw could be swapped.

It's no soldered its sprayed with silver then installed so if removed it well not have the silver on it
