The regular tracking won't show diddley till it's in your mailbox. Avoid the anxiety of checking it. And then cross your fingers, but based on my experience, you should have it in plenty of time.

sometime thats it, i ordered a prive tank from greece and i just crossed fingers and it made it in 3 weeks

Nah! It is the Illuminati I am now waiting for ;) tracking says it hasn't left the states yet, but priority tracking sucks so I hope they just missed the scan. Hoping it makes it by the 15-16....depends on Christmas back up at the border though. Glad to have finally received my dragon though.

Oh whoopsie. My bad. Lol

That's a really good idea. I've broken two and the only reason they have broken was impact to the top cap. When it gets hit all that force goes straight into the tank's glass :(

i'll find the right o ring but the top cap may be more wobbely

Ya I am familiar with tracking from the states, they usually do hit the leaving country scan though, I am not concerned either way. The dragon took 15 days to get here, which is pretty typical of first class/priority shipping to me in BC.

A lot of the carriers step down the cpu for battery in their firmware, i mod / unlock / root everything

Sure but Samsung released the GS3 in Europe with a 1.5 ghz quadcore and a 1.5 ghz dualcore here. Also the European version is technically 5 cores, as they added a 5th weaker core to run at lower speeds to handle basic processes in order to expand the battery life. The european version isn't AS good on battery life as the US version, but it's close enough.

Were a phone like that on the market, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. That would be SICK. And yeah, definitely the most powerful phone on the market. The GS3 has nearly the same specs in Europe but they decided to gimp it when it came to the US and only used a dual core 1.5 ghz processor but it still has 2g of RAM. ANNOYING that a company would gimp their own product like that.

That happens with a lot of things that originate in Europe and Asia (especially Japan) then comes to North America. Perfect example: Japanese sports cars. They have a lot of really nice turbo cars that either A. we don't get or B. we get a watered down version.

Car example; Silvia s13 and s14 in japan come with a turbo 2.0l 4 cylinder in japan but in the US we get a 2.4l NA engine and we don't even get the Silvia s15 (Silvia in japan = 240sx in USA)

They were making Skylines in japan for 40+ years that were all awesome and we just got the R35 recently. They made Mitsubishi Evo's in japan since 1989 or 1990 and we just got one in 2004. It sucks..

The '71 skyline is one of the best looking cars ever, IMO.

I think part of the reason we get watered down version of high performance products (phones, cars, whatever) is because they think the average consumer won't want to spend the kind of money that it costs for that type of performance. So, they water it down, sell it for cheaper and everyone but the people like us are happy. Just my $0.02

I would rather have quad-core processing power and less battery life than dual-core and a battery that last longer. Maybe that's just me :D

I also mod/unlock/and root everything :) FIGHT THE POWA!

Now I feel silly for owning iOS devices... Does it count that I jailbreak that, then flash the X360, PSP, NDS, 3DS, Wii, and earlier nintendo stuff? :D

Only recent game system I haven't done is the PS3, but that's cause I don't own one

Don't feel silly, you can always throw the iOS crud away ;) And I suppose the rest counts, and you get double props for not owning a PS3.

What if we used something thinner? Like a gasket?

I can order gasket material and cut it out with the laser, but I'm not sure it would add enough shock absorbency from the top cap. Whatcha think?

What I wanna know is can you put the lasers on sharks? All I want are sharks with freaking laser beams and one milllllllion dollars, is that to much to ask for?

Movie references from my youth aside, wonder why none of these mod makers have thought about using a washer like on a garden hose that is like 1/8th or more wide and it is flat which would give it more stability.

Haha thanks. Honestly out of all of them we probably use the Wii the most. Threw a 2TB hard drive on it so it holds all our movies/series, so ya it gets the most use lol.

You just reminded me that I have a super nintendo and games in my attic.. :D

It's ok! Some people just aren't as computer savvy as others. That's why Apple is rich! ;) LOL I'm joking! Really though, most iphone users couldn't jailbreak their phone if their life depended on it! I can't count how many of my "friends" have asked me to do it for them after they found out I had jailbroke mine.

I owned an IPod 4 before my Galaxy s3 and I smashed it with a hammer. I found out the "friend" who I bought it from (for $30.00) stole it and I couldn't afford a receiving stolen porperty charge along with more lawyer/court fees! It was fun though. Funny thing is, it took 3-4 hard hits until I used the back side of the ball pein hammer. It broke easy after that and I had fun tearing it apart!

Man I love me some Super Nintendo.. I can still remember beating Chrono Trigger when I was a kid. Oh then Clay Fighter, remember those?

Dude I hate iPhones.. When I first got the 4 I thoguht I liked it. But unbeknownst to me, it opened up a world of frustration. Once people saw I could jailbreak it I go requests every other day from family and their stupid friends. THEN when someone at work saw me fixing a broken 4 screen they thought it was game on. I've now fixed like a hundred of them and god do I hate these phones now. When people ask me if I can fix stuff now I just say no, but if my boss needs some fixed he always brings anyway knowing how much I hate doing it lol

yea, we need at least 1/32 or more for shock, but anything small may work, as long as there is a buffer

Remembering that Austin Powers movies came out in '97, '99 and '02 makes me feel old...
