Lol I guess it annoys me because people act like their freaking geniuses because they can change out memory in a computer or build one, and they want to do the same with a phone? Lol I've never wanted to open up Illustrator on my phone? You guys all act like Apple is horrible but you're all jumping on the next bandwagon driving by? the orings were actually stuck to the tank.
it just put a little crack at the base and took the edge off.
I assume when it came loose it nicked the base of the atty part and chipped it.

So sick of this discussion. Apple didnt advance much this time they drag their technology out 2 years at a time. The note jumped them. I dont need itunes. So the size and speed of the note suits me. Nothing revolutionary, but the Note 2's specs simply destroy the iPhone (all versions). And it's funny you mention gimmick, because that's what Apple's all about.

I think having a phone with fully up-gradable internals would be amazing! I would spend $1000.00 for a phone that was custom build-able (motherboard, RAM, processor, GPU, WiFi card, cooling system, battery/power supply) with at least a 5-5.5" screen. That would be the coolest thing in the world, IMO. I also think that is where the market is heading (just like computers in the past).

Instead of releasing the same .... every time with a little change, Samsung actually builds better, faster, more powerful phones. So, there really isn't a bandwagon to jump on. Because the next top of the line Android powered phone will be even better and Apple will still be pushing out the iphone 6, 7, 8, 9 and they will be the same as the previous model other than a couple little changes to make it seem new.

The note 2 is a much MUCH better phone in all aspects according to specs. It's just people who don't know much about computers/phones who think the iPhone is better. But, in the end what phone you want is up to you. But no matter what anyone's opinion is the note 2 is a better phone performance wise.

The only reason I would get an Apple product for is to play music.

Lol I think it's funny that Appleites don't think they can get viruses because of some kind of "superior" OS. Well, fact is, you can get viruses and you don't because Windows still dominates the world market and therefore is the main target of blackhat hackers and other deviants. However there are plenty of hackers out there targeting the iOS JUST BECAUSE people make these kinds of comments. It's just a different OS, nothing superior or revolutionary about it.

Actually, making a quad core processor capable of pushing 1.6GHz (pre-overclocking) fit inside a cell phone without overheating is very advanced. That's why it's the most powerful phone on the market. No one else could figure out how to do it.

Yea the only gripe I have with the note 2 right now is at&t and tmobile havent release the multiwindow update and that was one of the key features of the phone.
