Ok jc I have to thank you. I brought the illuminatti out last night and the coil freaked on me again. I did put the dragon in the car so no problem. Because of watching your video and talking about the voltage drop I started back on making a new wick. Extra time and effort made all the difference. Love this thing. By the way stood out with the smokers. I sold 12 yes 12 of my friends 25 dollar ego kits last night at our company christmas party. Everybody is just drawn to that dragon. It was a great night. Thanks again for the inspiration.

While I am a total iHybrid noob I noticed that right off the bat when I was trying to use a Panasonic 18650 with a nipple top, threw in a regular IMR and it locks up fine. So just the length of the batt I am assuming.

I have a mars fire button top that will not even fit in there.
with the regular IMR 18650 I can screw the switch all the way in.
if I use the taller battery the switch does not seat and if I fire it off the button sticks on.

Bringing this forward ezkill look.

[Ok everytime you say thst i say yea right and go on torching. How is it possible it goes against everything I have learned. Ss mesh conducts electricity. So a wick touching would have shorts without oxidizing. Yoda teach please

QUOTE=Ezkill;7977695]If you do it right you don't need any oxidation...at all. The oxidation of the wick should be a non issue.

Whatever works for you but the point was to be able to put away the torch by using the method.

This is about the worst wick I can make, threads hanging off of it...touching the bottom of the tank. Touching the top post. It's all of the typical genesis no no's but it vapes without a problem.

Well Petar K is contrary to everything you've learned, I agree. It was contrary to everything I learned about genesis wicks and coils...it breaks all the rules of traditional wick and coil setup.

Electricity is like water, it wants to go down the path of least resistance. If you have a perfect coil that doesn't put too much pressure on the wick there is no reason for it to short(jump) through the wick. It will just follow the coil.

Morning everyone, wow I feel like it was a slow night.

That is just great K-man, I hope he enjoys it as much as the rest of us do. I know some say that Fac copied Zen, but fact is both have their place. The sooner everyone realizes that the better!

You got out the same year my dad did, tho he was army (spent 2 years navy then went army for 20 years).

hell yea i was finally able to accomplish the PK method and I really like it.. makes cleaning the wick and dry burning so much easier.. Also takes a lot long to even get all gunked up!
