I like 20% flavor with TFA. JMHO. Some think that's too strong. Try a couple that sound good together. Strawberry goes well with tons of stuff. I like apple and strawberry together. Both go well with watermelon.

Do you have a iPhone or droid?. Search ejuice on the App Store. There's a cool little calculator with built in recipes. I hope that include TFA flavors. Not hip on DIY lingo :p

Yeah, I have D/L'd a couple of native juice calculators. As we all know, we operate on different OS's. I like the web based one, b/c I can share across platforms.

Here is a complicated Menthol to die for, I mix it for an everyday smoke.
26% 50vg 50pg 12mg 150ml

9% M-type Premium Blend
6% Menthol
3% Wintergreen
2% RY4
2% Tobacco
2% Crushed Almond

Since we are talking DIY, what overall flavor percentage do you guys run? Phrost I see you are using 15% and Gruss 20%. Is that the norm for all your recipes?

it depends on personal taste and also the flavorings, some you can get by with very little others need a lot more

I did it! I did it! No oxidization, just 3 juice burns, and viola! Best wick/coil yet!
And to think, I was this close to spending vape money on a torch!

It just gets easier every time you do it too....I think it takes me like 3-4 minutes to make a new wick and coil.

Start with 10%...it's easier to add. Once you find your perfect amount of flavor it doesn't change much between recipes. I'm in the 10-12% range, personally.

hell yea i was finally able to accomplish the PK method and I really like it.. makes cleaning the wick and dry burning so much easier.. Also takes a lot long to even get all gunked up!

It's awesome, isn't it? I made my first proper coil last night with this method, and I am in vaping heaven!

I did a Petar K last early last night and it was vaping like a dream. Unfortunately, the coil popped at the positive post this morning. Luckily, I wrapped another coil by just wrapping the wick (remember to turn the mod, not the wire), and it is vaping just as well :)

Hmmm. I am using Cappela's for this round and I like a fairly noticeable flavor. Any % suggestions on that combo? I am going to make a Apple/raspberry pie with Apple pie, raspberry, and sweet cream. I was thinking a 20% overall flavor with 13% Apple pie, 5% raspberry and 2% sweet cream. Sound about right or would you alter one of those?

just saw this.. I guess I could start lower and work up. I prefer a stronger flavor usually so maybe start at 13-15% instead

Yeah, between 15 - 20 percent is pretty much the norm for most flavorings and people's tastes.
