Interesting path this thread has taken. What does TFA mean? Is the Wizardlabs the goto place for flavorings and nic?

That website listed above is cool; and bookmarked for later.
TFA = The Flavor Apprentice

Another note that I need to add: If you have problems with PG, stay away from adding excessive flavoring, as almost all flavoring is PG based.

Hmmm. I am using Cappela's for this round and I like a fairly noticeable flavor. Any % suggestions on that combo? I am going to make a Apple/raspberry pie with Apple pie, raspberry, and sweet cream. I was thinking a 20% overall flavor with 13% Apple pie, 5% raspberry and 2% sweet cream. Sound about right or would you alter one of those?

just saw this.. I guess I could start lower and work up. I prefer a stronger flavor usually so maybe start at 13-15% instead

Yeah, between 15 - 20 percent is pretty much the norm for most flavorings and people's tastes.

EZ'z got a good point. It's easier to add flavor than take it away. I just know I like more flavor. I use Capellas at 20% total flavor and make the component flavors fit into about 20% and tweak from there.

Well Petar K is contrary to everything you've learned, I agree. It was contrary to everything I learned about genesis wicks and coils...it breaks all the rules of traditional wick and coil setup.

Electricity is like water, it wants to go down the path of least resistance. If you have a perfect coil that doesn't put too much pressure on the wick there is no reason for it to short(jump) through the wick. It will just follow the coil.

My knowledge of electricity (particularly low voltage electricity in audio circuits) tells me that this is precisely the case. the purpose of the wick is simply for it's capillary properties, stainless steel is used because it won't burn under the relatively low voltages put out by the batteries we use, it's conductivity is an unfortunate side effect that can fortunately b avoided with proper coiling to ensure optimum electrical flow.

swampass:
"when your asscrack/grundel area is so sweaty it basically becomes a boggy swamp. very humid and producing unbelievable discomfort, this condition is generally worse among the fat and lardy. however, in sub-tropical climate locales, i.e. southern louisiana or mississippi, swampass can strike anyone, at anytime. the only relief is to either strip naked and head for a fire hydrant or go home and peel your loins off and drape a cold, wet towel over your nether-regions."

I see people all the time offering mods to people in the forums before they take it to the classys. On one fourm its concidered bad edicate to do otherwise.

She's gone but sorry Classy!!! I didn't know it was against the rules to give first dibs to my buddies before taking stuff to the classies. My bad. I meant no harm and I hope Face isn't upset :facepalm: The post has since been moderated anyhow....

I am amazed as to what you can learn in here, From how not to pop a coil on your wick to swampass / asscrack stuff
