Face, if I order a Standard on 12-17 (or when they return) is that shipping with new or old switch ?? Or can I purchase a current switch on its own ?? You must have a few lying around right ?? :) Just want to keep my options open so I don't have to sell the HR if its not working out for me.

Hopefully its fantastic as you say ..... but then I'll want one for my spider :D

next standard run will have new switch, I dont know if its going to be the 17th however, I'll explain at the end of this multi quote post

They still show in stock....But when I got to checkout....it shows none available.

they are in stock now, when it does that it just means I am out and havent updated stock

two things. First, and Ive read this, but the larger magnet will not fit without my pushing it down (when it may stick) and also it seems with magnets in the upper portion, that the throw is now longer.

do you find that to be true?

what larger magnet? I send out all the same size

So do all batteries shake around inside the device, or just mine? I'm using AW IMR 18650's

Actually it really only happens noticeably when it's locked...

when you lock it it pulls the delrin down which makes it rattle, thats a good thing, lets you know it locked :)

Truthfully I've broken a few magnets in mechanical devices and have never had a spring wear out. I believe Faceless is using a piano wire spring which is going to take a very long time to lose tension. Under perfect circumstances magnets will last forever and the best springs will eventually wear out but I think it's going to be a very long time before we need to replace any springs. Possibly years.

that is correct, I use music wire

The new render looks Great!! I think that switch looks Awesome!! :)

dont remember what i was going to say

Update: Really bad news, grint your teeth!! So the z axis motor on my machine I use to engrave broke (the part that makes it go up and down) Called Haas and they wanted 2 grand to replace motor and it would be 3 weeks, called around and found another place that will do the same thing for $800 and it would take 2 weeks, I asked for a rush and it doubled cost due to holiday coming up and it will be 3 business days, I paid the extra rush fees, they will be out to replace the motor tuesday, I have 140 tubes to engrave (70 small and 70 large battery tubes) that takes about 6 minutes per tube which is about 14 hours which is about 2 days work, then I have to assemble them, which is what I should have been doing tomorrow but now wont be until next thursday or friday which is when they will ship, so its about a 3-4 day delay, the flowers arent being engraved on my machine, they are being laser engraved and sending off monday to laser guy, so they will probably ship before or with hell raisers, in the meantime I cranked out 100 tubes and 100 blank sleeves for the next 2 LE's, so they will move very very fast, if my machines can keep up. Sorry for the delay, it is out of my control, with that being said, I cant do the cutouts for the "i" on the sleeve for the standards either, so they will be delayed also, my site will reflect this with a new date

You are a breath of fresh air. Some modders will think nothing of taking an extra 3-4 months. You are saying "really bad news" when, for circumstances totally beyond your control, you are missing a deadline by 3-4 days. We'll be fine, dude. Do what you have to do.

Bummer Fac! Too bad you can't feed your machines OJ.

the only way I will miss it by 3 or 4 months is if I'm in a coma

So i guess i will probably not be the only one who asks this but when using your volt meter and you come up with the Ohms are you compensating for the difference when you touch the posotive and negative leads together, my volt meter self adjusts to 0.0 0.1, some volt meters are at .2 .3 before you test, with that in mind the actual reading would be minus the initial reading like if before you start you take a reading at .3 then you get a test reading of 1.7 being actually 1.4 Ohms, silly but it may be important to some of the rest of us.

I'm also changing the ground screw to a phillips head, the allen wrench company cant keep up, so it will come with the phillips head screw on positive post (allen wrench tight draw knurled screw) for tight draw in bag, and phillips head ground screw. So you only need a phillips head screwdriver to change coil, you wont need an allen wrench as the tight draw screw is knurled and can be tightened and loosened with your fingers, So it will be version 2.2, in a few weeks maybe 2.3 and week after that 2.4 lol
