Alright the main problem I've had with some coils ever since I started with rba's, and still haven't really figured out a trick to fix, is getting hotspots on the kanthal that leads from the top coil to the positive post. How do I fix that? Any simple fixes?

So i guess i will probably not be the only one who asks this but when using your volt meter and you come up with the Ohms are you compensating for the difference when you touch the posotive and negative leads together, my volt meter self adjusts to 0.0 0.1, some volt meters are at .2 .3 before you test, with that in mind the actual reading would be minus the initial reading like if before you start you take a reading at .3 then you get a test reading of 1.7 being actually 1.4 Ohms, silly but it may be important to some of the rest of us.

I had that turned on before I started the video and had held the leads together and had a 0 reading.
I should have mentioned that in the video...
when I hold them together it starts at .1 then goes to 0
I think most these days would be self adjusters but I am no electrician so thanks for pointing that out.

I setup a full coil and zoom on what I do to the top coil.
it is kinda long so I apologize for that but I wanted to do a unedited version so people can see what it really takes.
the skips in the video are when I was trying to get the zoom to focus.
