anyone ever had trouble w/ their gus telescopic firing? it has fired every time for me but my gf has been using it and says it sometimes doesnt fire  doesnt look like anything could be interrupting the circuit

Do u have the spring in it, I took mine out and run it strAight that resolved my issue.
I guess I should say ( this is bypassing the safety spring of the device and not how the maker intended it to work) but its how I use mine.

Good morning all enjoy the day.

The one thing I learned about the GUS is. You have to adjust the pin all the time. When ever you change a atty, carto or whatever you put on it. Adjust the pin every time you change something. That should work.

oh ya, i know that i have a g-paps too, its adjusted and it works for me every time but for some reason whenever i fire it it works and then while shes using it, sometimes it wont, hasnt happened for me yet go figure

get some...they are worth the money :)

dont they feel all rubberry while you sleep? :?:

I run mine the same way, 18350 mode I got a brass screw and cut it to size.
I usually melt the springs pretty fast with my low ohm coils anyway.
the crew is 10/32 from lowes there $1.18 for a 2 pack.
just remove the center pin and it screws right in.

ah, gotcha, cool there is an electrical supply company near me i got brass screws from to replace the SS ones in my SW, i will see about grabbing one for the gus

I also sanded down the delrin on the gus tele switch to make it more g-paps/caravela like, my gf is the one mostly using it anyways.

Sand the switch head...it's probably pretty oxidized. Not sure if you get rid of the spring on the positive end but that can make it a little dodgy too.

Wow I was biotchy last night, my nerves must have been fried after fighting holiday traffic and driving to multiple stores yesterday trying to find the wife an iPad mini for Xmas. My apologies to face and everyone for my complaining, that's not my normal way.

Yes it is! I know you. Happy holidays Clint.

Chief, we all need to vent at times it's healthy.

I took someone that i thought would have made me snap off the ignore list for the first time in 3 weeks yesterday and had to put them right back on.

We all have a point where we don't act like our selfs and it usually shows more when you care about something, so I think it shows you care!! And not only cause u missed but for others as well.

I had some 18mg in there this morning; I think I am reducing my nic lol. Vaping 10 pluid right now, and it is plenty strong.

Yeah, I hear that a lot. In my early genesis days, I had some 24mg, and pretty much chain vaped it for an hour...

Wished I hadn't done that.
