on a sad note my buddy dropped his iHy spider getting out of the car, it bounced on the asphalt and rolled under the car... one good thing is that he had his tank protector on so the tank somehow didnt break (i have a new respect for TP's) but the anodising is all scraped up and because alum is a kind of a soft metal there are some gouges down the side of it through the ano and into the metal, it looks like it landed flat on its side, and the tp was slightly bent. I felt so bad for him

I was able to fix the slightly bent tp part w/ some locking pliers wrapped in paper towels and rubber gloves, but I just dont know how to go about fixing the rest as a lot of it has gouged marks through the ano and into the alum..... my gf has dropped her zen top caps a few times and gotten dings, but the 316 ss prolly did more damage to the ground than was done to it and I just sanded out the dings w/ 800 grit sand paper and some mothers polish.... if it had been just his iHy top cap he dropped I would of done the same thing but actually the top cap is completely untouched.
Anyways is there any other way I can help him? I mean it still works great and all but its heartbreaking to see probably my favorite iHy (up untill the sugar skull comes out) damaged in this way

Its so sad because he's such a good dude and he doesnt have a lot of cash due to child support so one of my other coworkers sold him his spider at a really great price, its his only hybrid and he loves it, hes always cleaning it and he takes good care of it, it was just this one time getting out of the car while he was on his phone and it probably slipped his mind. I would of taken a pic of it but it didnt seem appropriate
