Cheers Crash, it is getting better or me getting more used to it this morning, the old Grants vanilla custard is very smooth through it 50/50 blend. I Have my name on the orion but there is some bad reports over here about them
1 wick hole not lining up
2 units marked on delivery
3 bad switches
4 leaking
So i have decided not to get one know, and become a Ihybrid nut :D
I am on the list for a v3...hope they are ok
I have a 2.1 and it works great

Holy shiitake mushrooms that was a catch up. Going snowboarding tomorrow. Last time I went was 4 years ago, hopefully it's like riding a bike. One of the perks of selling beer, yuengling is footin the bill this weekend.

I have not been boarding in about 5 years. kinda scared to do it again lol...

No idea who that is?
the list master :)

I want to test out some MNKE batteries. I found a couple places that sell MNKE 18650 batteries, but do you guys know of any places that sell other sizes?

I've been wanting to push the limits also lol. Did you check RTD? If I remember correctly they only had 1 or 2 sizes so maybe that's where your talking about.

Morning guys :)

The only other size that I know of is the 26650 MNKE and RTD carries those. I have a pipe that uses them and they are beyond impressive. Barely any voltage drop under load and they last for two days of vaping. 60 AMP max discharge. Fantastic.

Last time I looked MNKE does not make anything below 18650.

I've tried the three major styles of wick, straw, dual, and tight wrap. In my experience the last wick I made has been the best performing of them all. Its 3 inches of 400 mesh rolled so tight there's no central channel.

I'm vaping a high vg 30/70 juice and it's knocking my socks off, I know it'll be even better with 500 mesh. As for the coil, a good rule of thumb is the thicker the wick, the lower the resistance you'll need. It takes more heat to get a fat wick up to temperature... I'm current running at .8 ohms.

Btw, that .8 ohm coil is 28ga 4/3 offset wrap.

what did the od of it come out too?
I rolled 3 inches of 500 and it had a paperclip sized hole and filled the hole all the way in the ihy

It fills around 90% of the wick hole. The trick is to roll it as tightly as you can by hand, then roll it tighter by using two blocks of wood to get it entirely solid. When rolling it between the blocks, roll it with the coil of the roll, not against it. The outer layers may come loose in the process, when that happens, use your fingers to get it tight again, then go back to the blocks. You'll notice the center getting tighter and tighter as you do this.

Ouchie that sucks :(

Thats my biggest concern with glass drip tips, the only reason I havent broken several tanks is because of the tank protector lol

I've had my iHy fall, with the tank protector on, and land on the tip. The tip was fine but the shock went to the tank and broke it. I always get mad when someone says I haven't broken a tank because I USE THE PROTECTOR. Like I'm stupid lol. My two tanks have broken: 1 with the protector and the second while dry burning(my orings were swelled). The protector defiantly has saved me a few times so I ALWAYS use it.

comes with one.
I think

I'd assume its iHy LE one, not a matching glass :). Still cool, however!!!
