lol, I'm much sexier lol Did you go dove hunting yesterday?

responded :)

Yes but deer hunting, my brother went with me.
He hasn't been hunting since he was 15
We didn't see anything in the morning, probably because all he did was text on his phone. Lol
I went on the evening hunt alone, and saw the 4 bucks I've been watching.
Unfortunately at 50 yards in the thickest part of the woods.
No shot with the bow.

How much are the colored tubes going for?

Ohhh, why not?

Kits include (small battery tube, standard battery tube, tank sleeve)
$100 for 1 kit, $150 for 2 kits .... $5 shipping ( all kits will come with a 1 spare glass tank, 2 kits will not come with 2 glass tanks, 1 per order only)

10 character silliness.

I finally got it working. I had a bit of spare time to play. I had to rewrap the wick a few times. I finally used Quigsworth's method of wrapping it with cheesecloth. Shorts are gone. It is not producing a whole lot of vapor, but it is sufficient. I am sure the next time I set it up it will be much better. The flavor is good, and I like how easy it is to turn it off. I am not regretting my purchase at all.

Faceless I was getting a lot of juice above the top o-ring of the tank and the o-ring for the top cap that was leaking behind the sleeve. The top cap doesn't go down far enough to seat the o-ring in the groove.

Now TBS I took everything apart and cleaned it up. When I took off the top cap o-ring I noticed it was deformed and not completely smooth. I replaced the o-ring and I'm not getting any condensation or juice above the top tank o-ring :thumb:

What size o-ring is that???

I popped the top coil and have lent a buddy of mine my torch as he wanted to roll his first few wicks for his ZATTY. Will fix it up tomorrow. Not sure how I developed a tank short after this amount of time vaping it but I did. POP goes the coil :(

Might not need the torch but I don't want to pull the wick and burn it off with VG just to find I need to do some torching.

Where you least expect it....
Interesting, looks like I'm going to have to try those out soon. Hopefully it will help. Do you mean a gap between the top and bottom coils?

Thanks again for the pm. Just picked myself up a couple. Can't wait to try out VW.

That might also be my other problem. When I buy something new. I seem to always want to use it exclusively until I know how to work it correctly. Basically breaking it in.

I've actually used several different combinations. A 100% VG, 80/20, and a 70/30. Adding to the confusion. I tried different coil configurations along with the different juices I've used. A 4/5 and 3/4 wrap.

Currently playing around with 325 wrapped around 400. I did just order 500 since another forum member posted that it wicked even better than a 400.

Make the bottom coils closer to each other and than top ones to have more of a gap.

Think they're still in stock. I just ordered mine a few hours ago. Will PM you the vendor since I don't want to clutter Faceless's thread. So yes, I have been chain vaping it a bit without letting it re-wick. Not sure how long that would take since this is the first time that I'm using a genesis hybrid.

I guess I'm one of the few that went through overwicking issues first. Without the kick I was getting pathetic vapor due to overflooding with high wrap coils (basically anything over 3). Getting wicking issues after heavy chainvaping with the kick at my preferred wattage with a 4 wrap, thus my need to try 500. I guess I could get another iHy and rotate. I have chainvaped carto tanks till the point dremel slots wasn't feeding it fast enough. I seem to go through bursts of continuous vaping. Just putting this out to for perspective.

What juice are you using and how hard do you chainvape?

Edit: Anybody know why 325 is recommended for VG juices? I hear it thrown around a lot but I can't figure out why. Done my own testing and higher mesh count all seem to naturally wick better. My only theory is that 325 has better flavor due to the higher amount juice it should theoretically hold.

Do you mean under the tank sleeve? If so PM me, I need to send you a new tank, don't worry its free lol

LOL Yup, I get a lot of condensation under the tank sleeve. Gets pretty messy sometimes. Will go ahead and send you a pm. Thanks!
