Theres the bottom switch!! Nice pic!!

I wish my camera was good enough to snatch a good pic of the bottom cap, but I will let someone else with a better cam post that. The detail is crazy, how you got "Remember" in there so small and so perfect, I don't know !! I can't wait to the Veteran's version, and the I survived 2012 one, I think I am now officially one of the many Faceless Stalkers lol !

lol, I cant wait to make the 2012 one LOL

I'm gonna have to try this coil method you guys are all raving about. All my coils are still going strong tho so ehhh, maybe I'll try this method on a DID first so I can still vape my iHybrid while doing it lol

Oh and my 28 kanthal came in... Yikes this stuff is thick! Had to do like 8 wraps and it took a few tries to get one up and running. 6 wraps = catch on fire lol

fire?! I'll stick to 32g lol

That looks absolutely FANTASTIC!

Faceless, how are you these days? Haven't been around in a while, but I see the word is spreading and you're keeping busy! Nice! Let me tell you - I still am using your "piece of garbage" prototype as my main PV with great success, so...

:)

I'm good, headaches and stressed but good lol.... I wonder how many people use that prototype. I know someone sold theirs as I got a PM asking why it didnt have the logo on the bottom switch :(

Your wick is to thin. I have a monster wick in mine with 4/5 wrap @28g. Hits like Ray Lewis.

4/5 wrap? You must have your wick filling the entire hole huh? Ya my wick is pretty skinny right now. It makes sense tho, as resistance is based entirely on the length of the coil as if it were stretched out straight. I bet your 4/5 on a thick wick matches the length of my skinny wick's 8 wrap. It read around 1.3ohm on an 8 wrap

I see I’m a little late to the party, but I just got home to a great vape mail day. The details in the engravings are amazing Faceless, they look so good. Thanks for putting the time in to make these for us, I sure appreciate it. Here are the pics I took, I’m so happy with these and can’t wait to show them off.

Good morning everyone. Finally got me a weekend off! Gonna head to Home Depot for some supplies as soon as I manage to get my .... off the couch.

What do I need to buy to fix the threads on my anodized tubes to get my iHy to fire? I was told fine sandpaper. But what about between the threads? Wouldn't a steel brush be better?

Another option to remove the anodizing on the thread is lye. Mix pure lye with distilled water and put a single drop in the threads. twist it to disperse the threads and add drops one at a time to fill the threads, but this is important MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT TOUCH THE BOTTOM OR SIDES. Lye will eat through aluminum and it's what's used along with acetic acid to remove anodizing. You'll want to warm it up in the microwave for a couple of seconds. The warmer it is, the faster it's going to strip. You will see the fluid start to bubble as the lye eats the anodized layer off the threads. You can purchase lye at most hobby stores as it's used to make home made soap.

Next best thing for getting down inside those threads is a wire brush on a dremel. Don't go too fast you don't want to reduce the thread diameter too much.

Lol Faceless the fire thing is normal when the resistance is way too low, it's just the juice catching. It only needed more wraps. I had a new convert watching me wrap it and he was not expecting the blaze  I'm pretty sure he still wants to go rebuildable soon. He's an electrician and likes fiddling as much as I do. Right now I have him setup on a Lavatube and carto tank but he's only a few weeks into vaping so I didn't wanna overwhelm him.

But ya that 28 is very thick. I went back to 33g right now since I'm used to it, popping a coil at work would suck lol

Great pics!! Let me know if you post them anywhere else, I like to see what people say :)

@Faceless: my take is - if you get headaches it means you have a head... OTOH, I am cursed to get really bad migraines if I sleep in or sit around doing nothing; if I go to work and do stuff I might get mild tension type headaches, or no headache at all...

@ Phr0stByte: "I know, right?"

I get them all the time, mostly when I over work
