Any thoughts why my top coil keeps popin and how can I post a pick with my phone I select the pic then nothing

You probably have a tank short -OR- your top wire is too far from the post. It's some combination of those.

Make sure wick is not touching inside the tank and is not crushed against the edges were it passes into the tank. At the same time your top wire should not be too far from the top post. Fire VERY quickly and watch your top wire. Just do tap fires on a fairly drained battery and you will avoid popping the top coil but will see it go very red. Then you know you have a problem without popping the wire. So then you can adjust and push your wick a bit, move it up or down and try again. Rinse and repeat until you have success. Once the top wire doesn't insta pop you can poke your coils until they glow evenly.

This holds true if you are using traditional methods.

This just arrived.......I need to say that I have not seen a pic yet, including mine that does this device any kind of justice......just an amazing looking piece in person. The Sagewood in the pic was not included though I was fortunate enough to pick up one of the extras......think I'm just gonna hold it for awhile now.......

I got the same phone and can't do it. I think we have to use photobucket of something but I'm not sure because I've never done it.
another way you can do it, but its a long method is...... send the picture to your email in a txt message... instead of inserting a phone number just put your email there... then open the email and save the picture... then upload the picture from there.... this method requires your PC, so im sorry if you dont have a PC available to do this but this is the only help i could provide since i use an iphone

Has anyone done the peter k method on ihy and if so what size bit was use for mesh and coil?

Best bet is just trying whatever screw drivers/bits you already have and shoving it in until you find a snug one. You just need something that's round (so an allen key won't work).

Think somebody here's even used a pen.

For the wick, no idea. I still haven't found a good way for me but Ezkill uses 1 inch of mesh wrapped around a 16g needle and says it works for him.

Hey guys, good morning! The "Got Pluid" LE and the "iHybrid" (in general) impressed a lot of folks on the "Of Wick & Wire" FB page. Of course, anyone who has seen the pictures has totally FLIPPED OUT! LOL And, there is a LOT of fans of Pluid on that page too! I know a lot of you guys don't use Facebook, but if you DO...you should drop in and check it out.

The guy that runs the page is Rob Stout. They cover topics related to RBA's. There are many experienced, knowledgeable members as well as new people. I learn a lot from that page. And, no, I don't get a commission....LOL....I'm just a fan :)
