Well, I finally am able to afford an iHy and I have a bit of a dilemma. I love both the Illuminati and Hell Raiser concepts and was wondering if any time frame had been posted for the HR, I didn't find anything in the thread and thought it would be worth asking just in case. Trying to decide whether I should just try for the Illuminati when they go up or hold out for the other one, 'cos I can't afford both ;-)

The HR should be available just before Christmas if I'm not mistaken. Although Face has been awfully productive lately so you never know 
Whatever you do, DON'T go for an Illuminati.

Great pics paul!!!! I hope you dont mind, but i used your picture of the GE leaning on the pluid for my Thumb nail for the youtube review i did of itSo I am back to 30 awg kanthal 4/3 wraps on my fat 500 mesh wick @ 1,3 ohms
This setup works for me the best: a good balance between the cappilairy forces of the wick and the liquid evaporation.

I am sure once everything is settled they will, but the upgrade is a new thing and not sure he has even made an regular ones since he changed the switch, but the new switch has a shorter throw, and the white piece inside moves to adjust for the battery size doing away with any gaps or loose fitting batteries
I think Nancy's spot on here, ob. The updated switch has a spring under the delrin insulator allowing the insulator to move depending on the length of the battery. I would be surprised if either a standard or an LE went out with the old switch, since he made 400 of them the other day,
Hey ob I just received my first standard yesterday and I asked the same thing. I think mine has the new switch cause the white derlin is springy. I wasn't sure but from what nancy and gruss just said I'm almost 100% sure it is. All my batteries fit perfect too.
