just thought i'd post this but...rtdvapor has fantastic prices on quantity of wire. most commercial stores sell 2-3 feet for $3 dollars, i just ordered 50 feet of 28ga kanthal for $10

Not to bug u all who already own these works of art, but I am a non owner, a window peeker if u will and I am wondering how this whole process works? I did look at the website last night and seen the ones that are "sold out forever"
I did however see the beautiful purple one that has not been made yet, does it have a name? And when these are made, how many are there or is it different for each color? Is there a notification list or thread?

The APV's you see pictured as "Sold Out Forever" are limited edition models. The 9/11 tribute will come back next year albeit with a different design. The others can now only be found on the classifieds. The purple edition you mentioned is the "Flower Power" LE, although I am unsure on the official name. You can purchase a standard as they come in stock on The iHybrid Home or 310Vapers.com | Home page | e-Cigarette, eGo, 3VO, cartomizers, atomizers, batteries.
For the LE's (the purple) you should watch this thread for sale announcements and news. Plus everybody here is a pleasure to talk to. (Besides me, don't f with me I'm a jerk
) Once a sale date has been set, you can order the LE from The iHybrid Home and when the device is ready it will be shipped out to you including all the parts needs, minus wick/wire, including both the 18650 and 18350 tubes. You can order some spare parts from the same site if needed. You will need batteries and a charger to use this device, in either 18650 or 18350 size, and please make sure to use safe chemistry batteries. AW IMR preferred. Hope that helps (cause if not I just typed that for nothing!)
I have noticed that this supplier / manufacturer thread the top, if you fall out or take a nap, you will easily be 20 pages behind, its like having family over at the house, you just have to pay attention and drink some coffee
The purple one is called The Flower LE, that and the Hell Raiser will be put up for sale as soon as they're ready, 1.5 to 2.5 weeks now, I don't expect them on the same day and I don't know which will be first. I don't know exactly how many are being made either, between 30 and 50 of each I imagine, correct me if I'm wrong, Face. They will be a free for all feading frenzy. Keep watching here for Faceless' update posts to get a better idea on timing and keep a close watch on his website.
The standards will always be made, every 10-14 days a new batch will go up. Those should be available again a little before the two new LEs go up.
The ones you see that are sold out forever are limited editions that have been produced once and will never be sold again. I'm not sure on when the next up limited editions will go for sale but keep a close eye on this thread and you will get a nice heads up when they are ready. There is no list you just have to be quick when they go up on the site

I have a problem. Ever sense I ordered my standard ihy on the twentieth I no longer like my old PV's. Haha jk(kinda) there just so boring. When I get my tracking number ill be one happy man.

Don't worry. If you are here at the sale time you shouldn't have any problem picking one up. For example, a lot of people that stalk the thread also do so on sale nights, but without picking one up. 99% of us are here for more than sale announcements
Don't be so sure you're not gona get one. All it takes is a little bit of patience and a little bit of luck. If you don't want to try to keep track of the craziness that is this thread, I recommend just keeping track of Faceless's latest posts as he will give plenty of warning on when he's going to go live with them. What gauge wire are you using and how many wraps? Would you mind posting a picture of your wick/coil setup?
I'm sure we can figure out why its popping so much. I've been on the same coil for a few weeks on this setup now. Also, did you make sure to properly oxidize your wick? This caused a lot of shorts with me in the begining

I was having A LOT of problems with all genesis styles. It's about the oxidation man. Once you get a good layer of oxidation, you won't have any problems. Combine this tip with wrapping kinda loose coils(touching the wick not digging in).
I used to be told to try to get the wick as close as possible to the center post, but I've noticed if you have a good wick, it doesn't ever glow red between the post. I used twisted 32g or 28g kanthal, 400 SS mesh.
