It would still flucuate with delrin going up and down, there is no lock with this design, the other design locks without a lock ring and would use a key method

the other option is having 4 cutouts on switch and raised keys on firing switch, you would have to turn it to the open slots so keys fit in it, and pull the bottom switch out of the keys and turn it to lock it, hard to explain, there would be no tools required

My immediate reaction is in favor of the first design. Doesn't seem like there would be a retrofit option, and stability on the table is crucial for me. Would the second design allow for current switches to be upgraded?

I think this option sounds good. Seems easy enough to operate.

The current design, I like a like a lot, but it is a little busy towards the bottom. I think with this sleek design, it looks more like a device over a put together thing. THAT IS NOT BAD! I love my iHy and no one would ever say that, but comparing the two, I agree with the person before that it looks very innovative.

For some reason I'm having a hard time picturing that switch idea on the ihy. I kind of feel like that would take away from its current esthetics in that it looks very robust and "no frills". The indent switch may look too engineered maybe? I dunno, just thinking out loud here. I will probably love whatever gets made, face seems to have a knack for this.

I like the idea of the new switch. My Ihy only travels once a week and in my hand not in my pocket. The only thing I would consider an issue would be its stability. Other than that I love the way it looks.

ok just my two cents on the switch. I like the design you posted, but I want to be able to lock the switch, too many times I stick it in a pocket and while I can't speak for anyone else, I usually have junk in my pockets that would easily be able to fit into a recessed switch, such as keys, change, the odd nail or screw.

I had to sand down my cherry vape pawn to fit in my spider ... and find a smaller o-ring.

I like the idea of a locking switch. But, I like the aesthetic of your design. I would prefer a flush button and I dont use a kick and neither does the majority. Cant people just learn to not force stuff in. Its got to smoothly slide in. Wheres kt?

My 2cents about that recessed switch with cut outs. NOOOOO! Please. I have used this in a precise, and I have to hold it a certain way to fire, otherwise the switch protector got in the way. Having to rotate and hold it just right was stupid IMO.
