does the other button fit it?

The other button broke, this new switch is the replacement. But yes it did fit, when I first got my iHy I checked it out but decided to not use the 350 tube because of battery life. But now I have 10 350 batteries and I am looking forward to using that tube.

OK, contact faceless, and for now just use the 18650 tube.

Have you tried cleaning the threads? Even sitting around it could have picked something up that's blocking your progress.

faceless probably doesn't want to deal with me anymore right now lol he already just replaced a locked up old style switch with a new style one, had issues with his post office actually sending the package out and had to be contacted by wonderful Fisty to help me, now this. Annoying the guy who makes the beloved iHybrid is the last thing I want to do, but of course I want to use 350 mode so I'm gonna have to

Vaporhead, first of all your avatar slightly resembles a Vaporized version of Albert Einstein. Gotta use your imagination a little but it is there. Second I swear the pic of your new switch looks crooked, like a cross threading. Try the noalox, or some graphite. It just looks a little bit crooked. Are the threads deeper on the new switch than the old one? If so then you may not have had to thread it in as far with the old switch. There may be a small burr which is causing it to jump track on the 18350 tube.

If you get it worked out, put some noalox or no-ox-id on your threads, it'll keep the ss from grabbing onto the aluminum in the future. Noalox is like $5 for a lifetime supply at Home Depot.

ill do that. I'm still not at home, but I tried tapping and I tried wrapping a cloth around the threads to no avail. Is there something I could put between the threads and some channel locks so channel locks dont just smash the threads? It seems like what I am going to have to do is get something to hold onto those threads tightly, then I should be able to screw it off.

Hey! I didn't say I was mounting my PV's, only that they were crying to be mounted.

I would like to announce, for the record, that Gruss and his pvs are enjoying a strictly platonic relationship. Any rumours to the contrary are completely false.

(Thought that might fix things :) )

The machinist needs to be paid a visit. You don't take the cash and then hide.

Golf anyone?
Some smoke and mirrors going on there, im sure.
The total amount lost will be staggering.
IMO if it goes down someone's ECF user name should also.
I've seen the talks of us buying him a machine, i don't think so.
I'm starting to get .......

take a careful look at those threads, post a pic if you can, do you see any cross threading? if not it might be a burr and heres something that worked for me w/ GG threading (GG threads have been notoriously awful for me sometimes i have to get two or more of each peice till i get one that threads in, but afaik face's threads are notoriously like butter. Btw i have never ever been able to get any of those GG parts returned or replaced, ive spent about $90 on GG parts w/ frakked up threads that is useless to me and i guess COV and imeo want me to eat it  so the fact that he even took care of you should tell you something about face as a person and that he actually cares about his peeps)

Anyways heres what worked for me sometimes on Imeo's frakked up threads  :

lightly dremel the threads, LIGHTLY, aluminum is a very soft metal, then cover the switch threads and tube threads w/ mothers polish and go back and forth w/ it, DONT FORCE IT, and see if you can get it to go. Hope this helps bro.

This is a little wierd but it's a true storry and I think it's funny so I'm going to share it.

Trying to rebuild my high watt setup got frustrated and decided to play around with many voltage meter.

Temple to temple across my head it reads 80 volts.

Nipple to nipple across my heart I get 40

Next reading (the wierd and crazy part) also reads 40.

Brings up two questions.

Do I have more brains then heart and balls combined, or does the simple fact that I would even do this prove that wrong?

I think Nancy said wrap with a towel or a soft objectto get a good grip on the threads without damage, I second that. Just don't get in a hurry.
